I have a training log but it is 97% other stuff and I cannot even wallow through it. What happens when you only lift twice a week, deadlift every other.
This may be a better place to post my progress.
Recap: 56 years old, beat up, inspired by T-Nation membership to go for a 600 pound deadlift before I leave this earth. Hadn’t even touched 500 in over a year prior to beginning this folly.
Posted 2 weeks ago with a 520 triple.
This was my top set for this last week: 545 for a double.
I’ll go for 570 - 575 in a week and a half on Tuesday. Maybe play meet and go for a 600(?)

Deads are looking strong. I believe you said you were and adfpa national ref? Our paths have probably crossed several times.
Yeah, that’s right! I can’t remember exactly when I tested for the national badge, mid '90s somewhere. I never sat outside of Ohio though and stopped the whole thing circa 1999. You?

Those were the days…
Maybe not then? I was in the adfpa from the first nationals in Allentown 1983 (?). Hit a bunch of the nationals until mid 90’s then had a few years break. Never did a meet in Ohio.

Regardless, you are a paisan, and good to meet you.
I’ll have to find my video from a couple of weeks ago. It was 275 for three at 123lbs. 49 years old. Also a referee (IPF affiliate) for several years. I have nationals in 2 weeks so I won’t be pulling anything else spectacular before then.
