Man he sounds like an arrogant idiot…

i thought you were talking about Andy Haman at first i was like wtf?

alright dude get some perspective. hes 21 years old, no one his age is close to him in terms of development from a BBing standpoint and there arent many people his age close to him from a STRENGTH standpoint either. what do you think thats going to do to his head?

The kid is strong with big muscles…its not like he developed a cure for cancer or brokered peace in the Middle East. Why exactly should he be full of himself??

youre aware youre asking why he should be proud of himself on a bodybuilding website right? just want to make sure you know this T-Nation.com and not the homepage for girl scout troop number 603.

There is a difference between being proud of oneself and being full of oneself. How about you take off the “I just came off the short bus” sunglasses and try reading a book so these things are a bit clearer?
cause books have nothing to do with bodybuilding fucknut. Brad Castleberry shouldnt bother you if you have any hope of ever even coming close to his status which you obviously dont. i dont see how hes arrogant at all anyway, he just looks like hes having fun with what hes doing. maybe you should put down the books and pick up the weights and youll have less to bitch about, nancy.

Check the dates on the vids, about a years difference. So it’s not that one day he could do it and the next he could.

Guy is a world class athlete, and ifbb pro, nothing too unbelievable to me. If I’m not mistaken, Adam Archuleta was putting up 500lbs at a about 210-220.
theres a record holder TEEN Pler who deadlifts something like 600 pounds @130 or something equally rediculous. theres a vid out there of it too and i saw it on this site but cant find it.

so yea some people are just stronger than others. deal with it.

Exactly. I’m not saying this dude isn’t ridiculously strong. I’m saying there’s no way he’s getting 6-hundo for 4. NO WAY. Guys, the biggest bencher of all time is hitting that weight for a hard deuce, and this guy puts up an easy four while cracking jokes with his son and smearing whipped cream on his face? Come on. The vid was for entertainment purposes and to help him get a spot on a tv show. End of story.

Andy Haman does NOT compete competitively in powerlifting… comparing him to the top raw bencher (who? Mendelson?) is pointless… because Haman DOES NOT compete in POWERLIFTING.

And besides that… what do powerlifters specialize in? ONE REP! Maybe Haman can hit 600 x 4 and Mendelson could only do it for 600 x 2… but Haman also probably couldn’t hit 715 x 1 (I think I saw mendelson did raw… not sure).

Comparing a powerlifter to a bodybuilder is like… pointless…

Yes, the video was for entertainment purposes. But those sure didn’t look like aluminum plates either.

One day I hope you’re strong enough where others would be senselessly jealous too. Then you’d understand how silly you sound in every thread about every strong bodybuilder. ;D

That’s a big dude, but he handled that a little too easily. I call bullshit. With that kind of weight the bar would flex. He struggles with a 300lb tire and comes in and benches 6-hundo with whipped cream on his face?
Hey there Flash! -
I was Flipping a 800lb tire
and my son Sam was Flipping the 300lber-

That’s the first tire I’ve ever even touched, let alone Flipped!
well I’ve touched some small itty bitty tires before changing flats-

We are sorry for creating so much disbelief for so many, as we plod along in our own silly life- trying to make the best of our suffering-

Hahahaha… this is awesome… lol

If you can do it, more power to you. I still don’t believe it, but I’m a skeptic at heart. You seem like a cool cat, and I hope you get that spot on gladiators.

Someone get that man a T-Cell invite NOW

Hey Andy,

Don’t worry about the skeptics; you should be happy that the lifts were so big that they created so much disbelief. Hell, I’ll be happy if I can hit 300 x 4 at 42.

It was great to watch those videos of yours. I hope the American Gladiators thing goes your way.

I’d just like to mention, on the subject of arrogance, that if someone’s arrogance pisses you off, it’s only because you think you’re better than them.

Also, Andy, those boots rock hard, brother.

A lot of people just don’t realize how significant a 600 lb. raw bench is at any weight, let alone for someone the size of this guy.
If he could actually bench 600 raw in competition, he would be an instant celebrity in the muscle / strength world. Like you guys are saying, he would be one of the greatest benchers ever. If his Gladiator tryout didn’t work out, he could enter a raw bench competition, win(he would) collect his winnings, and then spend a few months in the magazines and get endorsements from powerlifting equipment makers and supplement companies.
The video of him doing 600 for 4 is bunk. Make a bogus video and have a laugh, but to claim the lift is real after being called out is lame.

Dude, honestly I agree with what you’re saying here. However, why dwell on this?
