The bar bent a little, probably was still over 300 pounds, would have to see him handle a 400 to get a better estimate. Check out his facebook page, pretty much nothing he does is serious.
Lets see… He benches 600 x 3 pretty easy but has trouble flipping a 600 lb tire?
I have a hard time taking that lift for real. I am not stating with certainty that lift is not legit, but I am very skeptical.
This is a clip of Glen Chabot, one of the best benchers ever, and had the raw record before Mendelson, if I remember correctly (don’t follow PL so closely).
It is funny people in that old thread were expressing their skepticism, but then when Andy popped up, the tune changed and everyone was congratulating and complimenting him. And just because he popped up and took the skepticism and criticism in stride, doesn’t make the lift legit. It also has nothing to do with hate when people are skeptical.
Here’s glen doing it and I have the utmost admiration, not hate.

They weren’t helping they were just making sure that if something went wrong that they could prevent any injury to their multi-million dollar, dominant, future hall of fame lineman. They don’t do max effort lifts, and the staff weren’t going to allow it if they didn’t agree to have spotters being extra cautious.

I was surprised at a few of the names that were giving you so much shit. I knew I remembered you catching flak but I thought it was some randos and not like, Waylander and SSC. Then again that was 2009, maybe they hadn’t come around to realizing the internet is full of shit yet.
