Good mood is good.

If you don’t mind, could you explain the DB serratus? I’m imagining a shortened ROM pullover.

Surely. Lay perpendicular on a bench, with basically only your shoulder girdle on the bench. Hold the weight directly above you, elbows slightly bent. Then lower the weight behind your head as far you can, while simultaneously dropping your pelvis slightly for fullest possible stretch. Go as far as you can, and when you’ve hit your peak, return to starting position (weight directly above you, and pelvis up), ensuring that you do not use your triceps at all through the movement. I say keep your elbows straight or keep them bent, but lock them.

Make sense?

Alrighty, Back And bis. Another Solo day (i dont mention that half the time i have one haha) so i fiddled around with movements. Ive noticed that ive been taking a lot of attention and putting it on my upper back. Well today i wanted to crush my lats.

Lat Pulldown- 15/80, 15/120, 8/160, 8/190, 8/220, 8/250

Pullups- 8/BWx2, 8/+25 (copped out early here lol.)

Cable Row (done with a dualhand grip)- 8/150, 8/190, 8/220, 8/250

HS rows (gripped the handle from the top, rather than the bottom as i usually do)- 8/180, 8/270, 8/360

Lat pulldown Face pulls (Done with what essentially a Vbar with handles)- 10/100, 10/120, 10/140, 8/160, 8/180, 8/200

1H preacher0 15/25, 8/30, 8/35, 8/40, 8/45

Constant Tension curls- 8/25, 8/30x2, 6/35

Hammer curls (with major focus on wrist flexion/extension, as the goal was the brachioradialis)- 8/30, 8/35, 8/40, 8/50

Flexor curls- 8/40, 8/50, 8/60, 8/70

Some of the movements performed today, nice and slow, hurt…hurt so good. I could hear him laughing, urging me forward. I’d bump, increase the weight, but he was never satisfied. He snarled, growled, screamed at me. Sweat dribbled down, constantly. Sparks flew fore my eyes, but he would not allow me to quit. And so i would put more weight on. I could feel his skin burning, thick walls of flame radiating, exerting pure energy…Desire…he is a cruel creature, but in a sense, i owe him everything that i am. Without his base, my foundation would surely crumble…and with that thought suffocating my brain, i bump the weight for another set…

Delts/Tris/Traps

DB Military Press- 15/30x2, 8/70, 8/100, 8/120, 4/140

DB Kai laterals- 8/25, 8/30x2, 8/35

Cable Behind the back Laterals- 8/30, 8/40, 8/50, 8/60

Bent over Db rear head raises- 8/30, 8/35x2, 8/40

Reverse Pec dex- 12/100, 12/120, 12/140, 10/160

V bar Pressdown on Double pulley- 15/50, 12/75, 8/100, 8/130, 8/150

Incline DB skullcrushers- 12/35, 8/45, 8/50, 8/55

Tomahawks- 12/30, 12/45, 10/60, 8/70

BB shrugs- 15/135, 15/225, 15/315, 12/405, 10/495

DB shrugs- 12/65, 12/70, 12/75, 10/80, 100/85

-Tired…

Legs- The separation of Bodybuilder or Weekend Warrior. Legs, A true testament to one’s dedication. A shiny example of the shear pain we are willing to endure.

Squats- 15/135, 15/185, 15/225, 15/275, 10/315

Romanians- 15/95, 15/135, 12/185, 10/225

1 Legged leg press- 8/2plates, 8/4plates, 8/6plates, 8/8plates

Prone leg curl- 15/65, 15/95, 15/125, 12/155

1 Legged Leg Extension- 15/70, 15/90, 15/110, 12/130

Hamtractor- 15/180, 15/225, 15/255, 15/285

…And i limp out of the gym, the vastus Lateralis of both quads throbbing…Im thirsty, im hungry, im tired…i need to get home. I feel Desire within me…feel him shaking, his anger radiating, his strength becoming tapped.

And i peer up, losing myself within myself…And i see Man walking a wild trail, one full of danger, pain, regret, and tears…and beneath his feet lay the remains of shattered walls that once stood high…impenetrable walls that once scraped the sky…

Decided to go a bit heavier on squats? Log is looking good, buddy

And then…

I think you meant 15/585. I can understand how you got the numbers wrong though, those pesky keyboard buttons are made for stickpeople.

Kidding, keep it up, Hurley.

Lol it was the 60 reps prior to the 315 set that broke me down, CandyCane (you call my hurley, and i will refer to you as a disgusting attempt at a sugary treat).

But yea, dont know if im going to keep this thread going much longer. Dont feel like too many people are following. Ive missed the past couple of days, and shit is getting repetitive and etc, etc.

Training IS constant repetition with the purpose of improving. Once you have all this information on record, you can look back and see what worked for you and what didn’t.

Yea, but i keep a workout journal. This log was made for others who asked me to create one.

My point still stands. To trash the journal because it’s repetitive is dumb. If you just don’t want to keep it anymore that’s understandable.

When I opened this thread, there were 190 some odd posts, and 5,700 some odd views. People seem to be reading. Keep up the hard work man.

Those views are 90% from Akuma refreshing the page twice a second to check if there are any new replies from other people
