How Much Milk Do You Drink?

There’s a beastly guy at my school’s rec center. He’s about 6’5 and 330 and hella strong. I see him in the cafeteria every day putting away three or four glasses of milk in a single sitting. This has inspired me to drink as much milk as possible. Today I had four glasses of milk with lunch (2 chocolate, 2 whole) and it just about killed me.

How much milk can you guys put away?
Whole milk, swole milk

I drink about half a gallon a day. I just like it. I have a buddy who is 6’7 280. He can easily drink a gallon of milk in one sitting. People say you will throw up if you do that, but thats only if you do it on an empty stomach. If youre as big as he is you can drink a gallon of milk with your meal of ten tacos and be just dandy!

First post ever yay!

i, as a beginner, 174cm, 65kg drink over 2 litres of whole milk a day, takes some getting used to, but after a while i can drink one litre in about 10 minutes even after a huge lunch.

About 1lt a day (sometimes more)

I drink a quart a day, maybe a little more on my workout days, all with my protein. I never really get any discomfort with it

I have no problem downing 2 litres in 10 minutes, provided I haven’t had anything before hand.

I normally drink 24 - 32 oz with each meal, so about 3/5 of a gallon a day. It’s a great way to get in extra calories and protein without filling you up too much.

I drank about 4 cartons with breakfast and lunch in high school. Now a days, I probably drink about a half gallon a day

I drink atleast 20oz with every main meal so roughly atleast a half gallon a day.

I stopped drinking it. Felt like I was gonna throw the fuck up constantly.

I drink at least 6 cups of milk a day. Tastes great with breakfast and dinner.

Until about a month ago, 1 gallon every day. No digestive problems. I cut it out completely, dropped 10 lbs, and have gained a little back since then, maybe a couple pounds. I’ve found myself craving sugar/carbs waaaay more than I can ever remember since I eliminated milk. I’m hungry all the time now.

Conclusions: milk was a great source of protein/general weight gain for me for a long time, and it’s especially useful if you can drink it when your appetite is lacking. If you don’t handle milk well digestively, or you just don’t like it, there’s no reason to force it. I drank my gallon every day quite easily, wouldn’t have done it otherwise.

When I carb back load I easily pound a 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of whole milk in my protein shakes in my “window” which is about 6-10/11 pm. This is in addition to slamming whole pizzas and stuff like that. I once ate a whole key lime pie (10" one) and about 1/2 gallon of milk. THAT was tough and I had the “carb sweats” like a MOFO haha.

I can easily drink a gallon a day if I try.

Usually it’s about 16oz in my protein shake when I wake up, then about 20oz with both meals I eat at work, then maybe another 20oz if I feel like it for my last meal of the day (otherwise I just have some diet Mountain Dew or something similar). Works out to be about 1/2 to 3/4 gallon each day.

Haven’t been concerned with gaining weight recently and I get a ton of protein, so I kinda hold back on consumption. Now that I’d like to gain 5-10 lbs it probably will go up to a gallon per day.

Back when I went from 165-185 bodyweight in about 4-5 months I was getting a gallon per day.

I drink about 8-12 cups of 1% milk daily. Just to up my protein intake and i love milk anyways.

Currently about 1-1.5 litres a day but when I was trying to gain weight it was closer to about 3 litres.

I used to drink a lot of milk. Then I stopped and soon after I no longer needed my asthma meds. I can handle yogurt with no problems however.

Yeah I used to drink a litre per day, plus 2-3 protein shakes.
However, I suffered recurring chest infections and congestion.
Dropped the milk and whey and instantly lost bloating in my stomach and have barely been sick in the 12 months since.

Milk’s awesome and I wish I could drink it. But if you’re intolerant, it’s fucking poison.

6’5 330? You don’t have to be a fat ass to be strong. Get your nutrition from many sources, don’t just depend on milk, or protein shakes or steak. Depend on healthy variety of all those things and more.

Eat and lift. Have good form. Read articles, talk to people and be patient. I probably drink a couple glasses of it a day.

How would you know? You also don’t have to be a judgmental prick.
