As part of your warm up or after your workibg sets, load up 10-20% more than you can squat for reps and load it on onto your back just get used to the feel of it.
Each squat feels like hell lol but after 2 mins rest my legs felt fine on 77.5kg
S my pt drop the volume from 5 * 5 which I didn’t get all on 77.5kg he said try 80kg see what u get
It’s just hard staying in the set mentally
Well when you talk about it like:
I’m not surprised. Your mental framing sucks.
You:
“Man, these squats are so heavy i just hate it. It feels like i’ve got a bus on my back.”
Better you:
“I squatted a damn bus today! Every part of my body was screaming at me but it felt great. Next time - itll be 2 busses.”
If you hate what you’re doing, either reframe it so it feels accomplishing, or just take up a different hobby.
Are you placing the bar on your back correctly? Like across your shoulders and not way up on your neck?

I’ve squatted over 600 and I can tell you I remember the exact way each of my most brutal working sets felt despite being years apart from one another no matter the weight.
Doubt is normal, that’s why you need to prepare for it. I suggest preparing the night before. Make sure you sleep good, eat good, and mentally visualize WHAT you are going to do the moment you get out your car and walk into the door, instead of going in and winging it.

Every dude i know that goes to the gym went for bigger muscles and female attention.
Then they got the muscles, but no attention.
Then they kept going.
They kept grinding.
They got tough physically.
They got tough mentally.
They kept going.
It sucks where you’re at right now. Keep grinding. I promise you’ll grow more on the inside than you ever could on the outside.
At least you’re doing squats. The truly mentally weak usually won’t even attempt them and if they do, they won’t do them again.

Couple ideas - brace and OWN that bus on your back. It doesn’t own you or your mind.
Drop to 75 kg and do 3x5 (or more) so that they are clean, fast reps and build back up to 80.
And yet still no female attention… and I’m married!
