The quest: To achieve maximum size without compromising the following…
Body Composition. Anything over 12% bodyfat is undesirable.
Condition. Losing my anaerobic condition is undesirable. In fact, I’d like to improve my condition levels, ie. 400m sprints, Max effort sprints, swimming, etc.
I know there’s more but I haven’t thought about it too much. My goal is 240 to 245 lbs. hopefully between 10 and 12% bodyfat by December 31st. That’s about 25 to 30 lbs. right now. I’ll update on this thread as soon as I develop my plan of attack…
Jesus man, that’s a lot, and I mean a lot, of weight to gain in 5 months. That’s 5 lbs a month with no fat gain. Good luck bro, hope you use some mag-10 on about 5 cycles.
And I believe it possible. I’ll be in a very similar boat; especially when I have to gain 10lbs and will be doing this as I improve conditioning and maintain a low BF%.
Dude, can’t wait to pick your brain on this in August.
Your goals mirror mine. One peice of advice. If you plan to gain 25 lbs before year’s end, you may have to put on some ‘non-functional’ mass (ie. hypertrophy of the slow twicth/lower threshold motor units).
This being the case in my opinion, you may be better served to shoot for a little more body fat reduction and a little less weight gain.
Regardless, I’ve found Charles Poliquin’s ‘Modern Trends’ and Mag-10 to be the essential tools.
Man after reading your plans during the hot rox contest I felt like I was in college again… All those fluctuations in eating. You certainly got the skills for it.
OK guys, let me lay it out for you in a nutshell…
To gain a fast and furious amount of weight, I paired the Skinny Bastard diet with a cycle of Mag-10. Being naturally lean to begin with, my bodyweight skyrocketed with minimal fat gain. I continued to do eat this way until my bodyfat approached 10%.
Then, with the help of my good friend Joel Marion, I was able to drop a bit of FM and gain some LBM whilst on another Mag-10 cycle.
Right now, I’m working closely with yet another good friend of mine who shall go nameless at this time (although I’m convinced his middle name is “Genius”). I’m telling this right now: I believe wholeheartedly that it is absolutely possible to put on some crazy size and lose fat simultaneously.
If this friend shall remain nameless, and you have found the holy grail of muscle building/fat loss routines, how are we supposed to dip our cups into the fountain that is your sea of mass gaining, fat stripping knowledge?
