That’s one hell of a goal. My goal is for next April to be 175-180 and around 10%. That’s about 15-20 pounds of muscle gain for me. It will be a challenge for me since I used to be a former fatty and put on fat pretty easily but I think it can be done.
“I continued to do eat this way until my bodyfat approached 10%.”
That is one hell of a beautiful quote. Ridiculous, but beautiful.
Silles - I’m not at liberty to disclose the details of the plan at this time. All I can tell you is that it’s creator may be onto something BIG and may want to write an article on his ideas!
CGB - I know! I know! It DOES sound ridiculous, but if you check out my pic which I posted on the Photo Forum waaaaay back last summer, you’ll see that I was one lean bastard!
Machine - Where’s your update, my man?
See you in two weeks when my results are in.
Merrow, I’ve got a friend that sounds exactly like you. He was extremely thin. How bout 138 pounds at 6 feet tall? In one summer, my workout partner (his brother-in-law) put 40 pounds on him and it was almost all muscle. He put down some serious calories and followed the typical for the time high volume bodybuilding routines common in the early 80’s.
The problem is that it would never work for me or many of the other forumites because we just don’t have that body type nor that newbie ability to throw on massive amounts of muscle and lose serious fat simeultaneously. If Machine can pull it off without some illegal supplementation then he’s a serious freak in my opinion.
Update: One week ago I weighed 204. Today is Day #4 of my Mag-10 experiment and I tipped the scales this morning at 212 pounds. I’m banking on an additional eight pounds by the end of the cycle.
