Foods for Growing Taller?

Are there foods that specifically make you grow taller. Or any safe supplements that can aid in my growth a little. I am 20 years old, 6ft, and do not know if I will get any taller, but it would be nice. Any ideas?

The secret to getting taller is in diamonds…you have to eat a lot of fuckin diamonds. dude why do you think there so expensive.
good luck.

NO-Xplode

I’m afraid you can’t do shit to get taller. I’m 6’4" I would donate you some if I could!

It seems that sleep and milk may help you reach your growth potential. Both in tallness and massness.

I guess my Christmas allowance is going to have to be invested in diamonds. I got a long way to go. Milk too  Thanks for the laughs!

I’m not aware of anything particularly marketed towards height increase. That said, getting as many nutrients as you can and trying to get enough sleep every night can’t hurt in helping you to reach your genetic potential.

Troll.

Brush up on your biology.

I don;t think its a troll…i’ve had many youngsters ask me this question in the gym lol.
I don;t think vertical growth occurs after 20, but if it does, then whatever helps you put on muscle the FASTEST (dietwise) is also the diet that will make you grow taller at the fastest rate possible. Growing taller is like super-bulking.

YEs, if you’re doing everything within your power to GROW the fastest (assuming linear growth is in your future of course, else you’ll get fat thr fastest without lifting to add mass) you may add a layer of fat.

Im actually not a troll, although Im sure you fellas heard that before. If you look at the other threads I started, they are not troll threads. But at the same time, I was reading some of the other threads started by people, and there does seem to be a lot of trolls, hence why I dont blame the sarcastic remarks. Thank you to those that gave a straight response.

and Im sure my user name doesnt help either, but dam its bad ass.

And the correct answer is:

It is rare, but a small percentage of people do gain a little height after 20.

Height is determined genetically (hormone regulation). This is why doctors are able to state just how tall you will become with great accuracy. I believe it was my obstetrician who said I’d be 5’9". He was dead on. No amount of eating would have made me grow vertically. Horizontally is another story, lol.

I know a healthy diet and good medical care has helped the average height of people increase of the past several hundred years, but I think that you won’t be able to eat _____ and grow taller.

Big_Pappa, did your obstetrician ever mention to your parents how tall you’d be?

Nope, but I guess I can’t complain at 6 ft. Its somewhat tall. I had a cousin ask me this question, which is why I decided to post it on here, so we both could know lol. Thanks a lot!

As for foods that can increase your height, I’m not sure any actually exist if you’ve already reached your natural height potential.

But…

There are a few things you can do;

1/ Correct your posture (if it’s bad), by correcting lordosis of the spine, forward head carrying position, forward lean and a hunch back, you can maximise the height you already have. You can look 1-3 inches taller just by correcting these postural flaws.

2/ There’s a procedure where you can have your legs broken and then held together by steel pins, so when they heal you’ll add 0.5cm to your height each time. You don’t want to do this though.

Look up the “Heal That Hunchback” Articles, there’s 5 of them, they’ll show you how to diagnose and correct postural flaws.
