Favorite Programs

In light of all the info that we from great coaches, I thought that we should dedicate one thread of all the progams that we have tried on this website from Chad Waterbury’s ABBH progam to John Davis’ Renegade training program. What has worked best for you?

For my body type and training style I have had the best results with Ian King’s programs. The bulk building workout is my favorite. I find that the volumes are too high in many of the other programs. I just ordered his Get Buffed series 1, 2, and 3. This will give me a constant training program for the next 9 months or so.

Good Question Bro!

I myself have tried many different programs and I have to say one of my favorites still today is a modified Westside Training Program (Powerlifting). I love that you can train heavy all year round without CNS burnout or over training by using Maximum Effort Days and Dynamic Effort Days (kind of like EDT). My ectomorphic body type loves heavy weights and low reps for maximum growth.

EDT - Because it’s so flexible and it conforms to my needs. With my schedule, I sometimes miss workouts. EDT lets me pick up where I left off.

I’ve done Meltdown III a couple times now and use it as an ace up my sleeve anytime I want to shed some fat. I think it’s fantastic. I also love CT’s Pendulum Bodybuilding program. Tempo contrast is a bitch.

Its not on this site but, one of my favorites is Joe Mill’s 20/20. If you like olympic lifting then this will put you through the paces and really help hone your technique.

Where can I find Ian King’s bulk building workout?

Ian’s bulk building is 09.20.02 in the archives.
