My favourite is a quote from Yuri Vlasov, he said that in one onterview:

It’s a common French proverb “Le mieux est l’ennemi du bien”… or so I thought. Upon looking it up, I see it’s attributed to Voltaire, the French writer/philosopher, but when he wrote it, he was quoting an old Italian wise man:

“Dans ses écrits un sage Italien
Dit que le mieux est l’ennemi du bien;”

……

“C’est bien ici qu’on peut dire:
Il meglio è l’inimico del bene”

Couldn’t find who that Italian wise man was, but apparently, that saying is quite old.

Yeah, that’s form Dr. Phil. I’m not a fan of his but that phrase has always stuck with me when I’ve felt like skipping a work out.

Obviously, he’s never seen one of my delicious Moebius pancakes.

My favorite is the expression about Big dogs running through, or wait, was that sweating failure and waking up early? I forget, but it really gets me going.
