Fast Weight Gain

Football starts in 30 days. Im sitting at 6’5-6’6 and weight 265-270* pounds(*water weight and if im full etc). I want to weight in at 275 that would be great. Im willing to gain a few pounds of fat here too. Whats the fastest way I could do it in one month? I know muscle gains are good if you gain 2-3 pounds a month but im willing to gain fat. Advice would be appreciated.

cheesecake and icecream diet.

8 meals a day. Dont stop eating till you feel the puke coming.

Eat a triple whopper every hour or so.

Sarcasm or not these are great lol. But seriously I think the 8 meals a day sounds great.

Seriously just eat as much quality food as you can man. And train HARD!

Search for some weight gain articles. It was either Ian King or Dave Tate, I cannot remember which who had an article to the effect of:

sleep 11 hours a day
sit down whenver you can, including between sets
eat whenver you can find food to fit into your mouth
keep your stress levels low by talking to no one
doing a few heavy compound exercises each day.
dump your girlfriend

Yeah, it was an Ian King article. But I believe that it was intended for people between 6-10% bf. I suppose the OP could use the same ideas, though.

No it was a Dave Tate article
Ian King isnt that good.
I’ll try find it if i can, only read it a few days ago.

Eat mass quantities of not so lean beef, chicken thighs, canned salmon and whole eggs while eating fish oil caps and sipping EVOO all day. Throw some veggies/salads in at will. Fat has over twice the energy of carbs and will make this a lot easier. Of course some carbs will up the count as well, but fat is twice as dense and I would make a significant part of your intake protein.

A buddy of mine went with his football team to the local “all you can eat” place. They had a competition, first person to stop eating, loses. Not first person who pukes, but first person who stops eating. Maybe you could organize this competition with some teammates.

dont worry about lean-ness
if you want to gain weight for football then eat

every hour or whenever you can have something in your mouth
main sources of food is meat

drink a protien shake with your meals.

whole chicken breasts with a slice of chedder cheese with rice and greens

mash sweet potatoes with hamburger and olive oil
whoppers with cheese at times
oven fried chicken legs
learn how to make cajun food my fav is gumbo all kinds of gumbo mmmmm

my grand father had an old navy recipe SOS
its beef gravy on toast each serving is like 3000 cals a peice depending on the serving size

just be sure to continue gaining and limiting fat by lifting heavy and training

No, it’s The Bulk-Building Workout by Ian King.

ahhh good ol’ Ian King… too bad he never posts on here anymore. that was back in the t-mag day.

it was that guy that helped me beef up my legs…

All the posts about eating are great but I would add that I gained 7 lbs in about 10 days with my first load 5gx5=25g per day with creatine monohydrate and that was in the early days of creatine. I mixed it with grapejuice.

For sure though if you don’t currently do creatine, do it now and drink plenty of water.

Just eat a shit ton. Don’t worry about it being healthy or not, just take in the most calories you can.

Proceed to train 7x a week, maybe even some two-a-days, and you’ll gain your 10 pounds.

Pizza buffet!
