I saw this and thought of you
^ Thanks Bambi, I appreciate it ![]()
I lost my press and dead day this week, so next week it will be 3x5 on press and deads and 3x3 on squat and bench. Went to the gym yesterday, but the gym was closed ![]()
Also I am going to commit more from now on, meaning being more consistent with my eating and
cutting back on alcohol consumption. My goal is not to get drunk before the summer vacation.
1-2 two beers two times a week is okay, but no all out drinking, think thats one of the things that holds my progress back and that drains my cash pool, wich could have been used for food instead. Perhaps I should drink a protein shake whenever I get the beer cravings.
Thats it for now, Will be going for a rep PR in deads tomorow, goal is 8 reps @ 90kg.
Cycle3/3x5/session B.
30.04.2012.
after warm up.
Militarypress:
3x5 x 22,5kg.
5x30kg.
5x35kg.
7x40kg.
Deadlift:
5x42,5kg.
5x52,5kg.
3x62,5kg.
5x70kg.
5x80kg.
8x90kg. PR ( old all time best @ 90kg where 7reps )
pull ups: 6x5reps.
tate press: 3x10 x 5kg pr arm.
bicep curl: 3x10 x 5kg pr arm.
comment:
Hard, but good session.
Good job on your PRs. Your still doing a high enough number of reps to push quite a bit past you previous best. Keep riding it out.
Also, You’ve created a good goal there. Finding a way to replace the drink makes it much less painful. I love the hardcore bitter taste of Indian pale ales so if I developed a craving for one I would drink a bitter black coffee with nothing added to it.
I noticed you changed the name of your log…lol

Thanks and yhea I will ride it out, cant let this chance to progress go away ![]()
I need to do it or I am going to become a acoholic in a few years, and protein shakes seems like a good replacement ![]()
Felt the old name was a tad boring, so I found the new name more fitting for me hahah…

Well done for hitting your Deadlift goal the other day!
Also I like the new log name haha, very dry.
I have big respect for anyone who tries to limit their vices in the interest of achievement. I’m by nature a heavy drinker, so my new year’s resolution was to limit my drinking to once per month. I’ve stuck with this pretty well and the rewards for my body are obvious. Drink is so awesome, but so evil!!
Moderation! =)

Thanks man, appreciate it ![]()
My goal when it comes to drinking is to learn to have one or two and then be able say stop and go home, as of to day this is hard for me so I must stay away from bars/pubs for a while, it sucks since beer taste soo good, but as they say: no pain, no gain ![]()
ps. My mother always say: “everything is good in moderation”

Nice bench mate! Do you prefer deadlift to squatting? Just curious, as I find the deadlift really tough.

Thanks man ![]()
yes I prefer deadlift to squats because I find deadlift less mental than the squat. If I mess up in a deadlift I can just drop the bar, but if I mess up in a squat I might get injured or die. I guess thats one of the reason why my squat is as low as it is, I probably have a big mental barrier when it comes to that lift. On the other hand max rep sets on deads are hell lol…
Thanks for dropping in btw ![]()
I am sick at the moment, so there will be no training for me untill I am well again. Hopefully I can press and pull in two days.
Get well soon bro.
But dude, I have a bone to pick. You need a much more positive log name - this is way too much of a downer! ESPECIALLY with all those sweet PRs lately, you’re no pussy. It’s effort and consistency that counts in this game and lately you’ve had both. Not pussyfied AT ALL.
Good job on all your PRs Florelius. * BEAST MODE ACTIVATED *
Get better and get back in the gym but not until you’re truly ready to go again. As a side note sick in summer/spring sucks. Sickness always has a more winter vibe to me.
You’re pumping up the bench press nicely and the squat is kind of keeping up. Keep working hard on squat and keep your standards high.
How is the drinking project going? I mean before the whole sick thing. I assume you aren’t downing beers while sick lol.

Thanks man, I am feeling better, so hopefully I can train tomrrow, but I will take it easy.
I will try to make up a better log name.

When where you in Sverige and for how long?

2008, for a couple of months. My band recorded our album in Gothenberg with Fredrik Nordstrom (Studio Fredman) which is why we were there.
I’m actually part German, not Swedish lol so no Swedish for me, just Deutsch =D[/quote]
Okay, didnt know you where playing in a band. Is it a metal band?
I had deutsch in school, but I never learned it properly. I wish I could.
