Cortes' Test/Tren/Dbol Run

Ok. Here is my proper update. At the end of the day and around 9 hours after my last injection, I can still feel the late effects of the coughing fit. I did not get that metallic taste in my mouth before the fit, but I have had a slimy feeling in my throat and a sort of wet soreness in my lungs for the rest of the day.

My weight is up to 223lbs (started at 210) and I have definitely dropped fat in addition to the obvious gain in muscle. In the next couple of weeks or so I’ll post pictures, but not quite yet. I’d like to come off of the dbol so I can get a more accurate assessment of what is water and what is fat.

I am just over 11 weeks out from my show. I would have liked to have brought up my chest and calves more, and I still think the calves will grow a decent amount, but I’m just gonna have to deal with what I have, which should still be a good 20lbs heavier than the Japanese guy standing next to me, so if I can get my diet and water just right, I should be in good shape.

Good stuff: I am almost as big as I was at the peak of my last cycle while being much leaner. Jelly noted in his thread that he felt he was “holding” his weight better this time around, and that is definitely what is happening here. Vascularity is really coming out in my forearms, shoulders and chest now, and occasionally in my legs, which is a first ever. I feel cocky and big and beautiful and my confidence, already high, is jacked up to 11. Nice.

Bad stuff: My joints are already hurting. My knees and elbows, especially. Hurts to run and this was affecting cardio so I ordered an exercise bike which should get here in the next day or so and I’m going to start using that instead. I am having trouble assessing strength gains because of the joint issues. I’m still able to get a great workout in, but it’s not as fun and I am moving carefully. Also sleep is starting to suck again. I fall asleep fine, but I don’t feel rested after I wake up. Luckily, after an hour I am okay for the rest of the day.

I will keep this more up to date in the future, sorry guys.

I’ll use this post to let you guys know that Tren Cough is NOT a myth! I just had my first bout with it about 15 minutes ago. Not fun. [/quote]

Damn. Makes me wonder tren cough, or small oil embolism, like Tim described to Jake a while back.

I have no way of determining which because I run the two from the same syringe. However, my assumption is that tren cough IS an oil embolism. I just don’t understand why guys seem to experience it so much more often with the tren.

Today’s injection in the opposite ventroglute went completely fine, though there was absolutely no noticible difference in injections from yesterday to today. I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little more apprehensive about putting that needle in today, though.

No doubt, Cortes. I’ve been really encouraged lately with the tren success stories. I read your one injection description, and said “no thanks…”

Jury’s still out.

Well, good thing is, I’m still here typing with my big, muscular, veiny arms…if that helps to give you a push one direction or the other

Dude waiting anxiously for those pics man. I just found this and it has been a super read. I truly appreciate how polite you can be.

I’ll have them for you Marc. I don’t know if I look quite as good as you, yet, though.

Thanks for your interest! And I’m glad you think I’m polite. Not everybody around here seems to feel that way all the time.

I just finished my dbol on that cycle u helped me with earlier…test starting to kick in nicely now. Been trying to keep my diet clean but I fear with the Deca I might be able to gain a bit more if I dirty it up a lil. Gonna do a few ‘fast food high carb’ days a week and see what happens. None of those for you I bet!

You have a way with words I think bro. Hope u working on that book when u not training or eating…

Heh. Actually I have written a novel. Finished it last year. Haven’t tried quite hard enough to get it published, though :frowning:

Aside from the lack of appetite the only other complaint I had with tren was a little bit of joint pain. Especially in my hips toward the end of the cycle. But I really think that it was the heavier squats that caused the pain as opposed to the actual drug itself.

Ah, a fellow writer. I know one when I read one. Send out the novel, see what happens…

Just wondering how the dbol was treating you?

I have to say I loved the immediate difference I noticed in the gym - just VERY glad I’m only running it for 4 weeks because I feel like a friggin’ water balloon. Still figuring out the right adex dosage for me, and will get a better read for that when I’m off the dbol I think. Right now adex is .25 eod. Libido feels low, so I’m going to go do some research on that.

My test enanth is definitely starting to kick in this week. Uh, it’s amazing. 'Nuff said. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.

Anyhow - sorry to kinda hijack this thread - just wondering if you had the same dbol bloat issue?

Thanks for reading…LittleRunt

Actually, this time around I hardly feel bloated at all. I am more vascular than I have been in months, and my abs and overall muscle separation is more visble than it has been in months (actually a lot longer). I think the moderate use of adex along with the clean diet are really serving to keep the bloat away. Also losing fat and being at a lower bf% than I was before also help.

I think a lot of my uncomfortability issues last cycle could probably been significantly alleviated with the use of an AI and a cleaner diet.

Also I’m not having any problem GAINING weight despite the clean eating and attention to water retention.

Speaking of dbol, here is something I have noticed when taking it: My pee turns dark. I get either a very dark yellow to, occasionally (I believe depending on my level of hydration) an almost brown color (this extreme doesn’t happen often, but it can come and go).

Anybody have any idea what this is? Liver function? Kidneys? Just extra metabolites in the urine?

So the fat is starting to come off pretty steadily now. There’s a good thread in t-cell alpha about how much fat you realize you are actually carrying when you finally start dieting to get rid of it. I have a hard time estimating what I am losing because my weight is still holding above 220 but I get steadily leaner day by day. Diet has been significantly cleaned up, and carbs significantly reduced. Generally, here is what I am eating in a day:

Meal 1: 6 egg whites, 2 whole eggs, 1/2 cup oatmeal, tiny bit of olive oil, all cooked together as an omelette and topped with ketchup.
Meal 2: peri-post workout Surge (3 scoops)
Meal 3: 50grams whey protein
Meal 4: chicken breast with some cheddar cheese, broccoli and spinach
Meal 5: 50grams whey protein, milk
Meal 6: tuna or salmon, broccoli and mixed veggies
Meal 7: 50grams whey protein, 8-10 grams fish oil

Supps not already mentioned include ZMA, multivitamin, and Fiber Choice tabs and HOT-ROX. I have also started a short cycle of T-3 just because I had the remains of a bottle and I would like to test the synergy of it with the HOT-ROX. I will cut out the milk and cheese entirely soon, and the Surge will probably go after a few more weeks. I am currently exactly 10 weeks out from my show.

I’m, again, focusing on some different exercises and more isolation work so I can’t give a very accurate assessment of strength.

I have the slightest smattering of acne on my chest and shoulders (just about 6 or so tiny zits). I don’t have too much trouble falling asleep, but I feel like John Candy has been sitting on my head all night when I wake up. I have started taking the ZMA to get better rest and I’ll update you guys on how well that works in the next week or so. I now have the joy of waking up every morning at around 5, drenched in sweat, with both arms and hands completely asleep, needing to pee and cottonmouthed. So that’s fun, but the worst side effect this time around has got to be the mounting irritability I am feeling.

I have found myself snapping at my wife and far less patient with the kids I teach, and just generally frustrated with things that wouldn’t normally get to me nearly so much. I don’t know if it is the tren or the sleep quality, probably both, but this is definitely one side effect I would like to trade in for another (raging boners or women spontaneously flashing their boobs at me when they walk by would be my first and second choices, not in that order). I guess it will be a bittersweet relief when I finally come off of the tren and am just taking test for a while, because I am not nearly this much of a grouch on test alone.

I’ll have some pictures up next week or somewhere around that time, so you guys try and keep it in your pants for just a little while longer, and I’ll try and make it worth your wait

On a completely different note, how is the posing routine coming along? Especially with only a couple of months to go…

And did you ever decided on a song or is that still up in the air?

Well bud… I must say your experience is sounding very similar to mine thus far.

Especially in so far as the aggression and irritability go while on tren it seems…

Cortes,
This thread has been very enjoyable to read through. Your diet looks pretty sound, but I noticed a few things that might help you out.

  1. Most ketchup has high fructose corn syrup. While this isn’t that “big” of a problem, it might be something to consider.

  2. You might want to consider bumping up your healthy fat intake when dropping your carb intake. Upping the healthy fat will prevent muscle catabolism and prevent your body from using protein for fuel.

  3. Be careful with consuming too much protein. This might be a different case because you are currently on juice, but I have know of bodybuilders who don’t consume much more than their bodyweight in grams of protein when peaking for contest. Reason being that if your protein consumption out does your protein being used by your body, it converts it to glucose. Like i said, I could be completely off on this, but, it might do you some good to look into.

These might be some things to consider. I might be completely wrong with my third suggestion, so it might be nice if someone could verify or correct it. Good luck man, and I look forward to seeing your pictures!

Cortes, interesting read my friend. I really do enjoy the logs of more experienced users.

You mentioned something of the dbol, no? I believe the darking or shading of the urine to be metabolites. Same thing happened to me. I noticed that the darking of the urine had a direct correlation with the amount of dbol I took at one time. For instance, 25mg - slight coloration. 50mg - mucho coloration. This is what made me start splitting up my dosage… So instead of me taking 50mg an hr. before workout, and 50mg more sometime PWO. I now take something like a few 10mg tabs throughout the day, maybe 25mg pre and postWO. I dont know if you split you tabs up throughout the day or not. Havent had a chance to read the first two pages yet ;P. haha. Ill do that right now

The posing is coming along, but I’m glad I still have 10 weeks to practice. I have used that link you posted and it’s been a big help. Also there are some great instructional videos from Bob Chicherillo on youtube that I’ve been practicing with. As far as mandatories go, I hate my side tri but everything else seems okay. No posing routine yet, though. I’m still working on just posing. I’m trying to spend about 30 minutes a night working on that, and another 15 minutes on bringing up my vacuum, which I am determined to nail.

Still haven’t decided on a song either, damnit.
