Embarassing issue here but what the hell
I’m fat and that means my legs are fat and they rub together while doing long sessions of cardio. Starts to get raw and ends up being very painful.
Any ideas on what I could use to help?

tons of this has been addressed a search will come up some more stuff folr ya.
but baby powder on there very liberal like works.
theres some stuff runners use I forgot the name but search youll find it.
I used to put baby oil on the insides my legs,or vasoline.
but that stufs hard to wash off and feels funky at first.
Lol. I’m not sure I’d use baby oil. That would feel wierd.
Body glide is supposed to be good. I have some but I haven’t used it for chafing so I can’t say how well it works. It does prevent blisters well. It seemed expensive to me. I noticed there was a similar anti-blister product in the foot section of the drug store (Dr. Scholls perhaps?) that I thought was cheaper and would work the same.
You can get this stuff at running stores.

Never heard of Body Glide but yes, zinc oxide is wonderful stuff and not just for babies. Plus, it’s very inexpensive and a little goes a long way. Penaten is a very good one.
Band-Aid makes a blister block that I think works well for this issue.
Good fitting boxer briefs, or some spandex bicycle type shorts under your regular shorts.
Baby powder + Appropriate running attire.
Generally jeans or cargo pants are a bad idea.
Just use vaseline, tryed and tested my legs used to bleed all the time from rubbing.
And also wear a pair of cycling shorts this helps to.
steve
Ditto on cycling shorts and appropriate attire.
if you cant get the bike shorts and dont want to put on the vassaline pull them pants up real high so its just cloth rubbing on cloth and your thighs are properly seperated.
also wear appropriate underpants, otherwise they will get sweaty and will bite every step of the way.
best of luck with your endevors
tubby,
p.s just wait till you start running and your nipples rub on your t-shirt and crack and bleed and weep and sting like buggery, thats when you really ask your self if exercise is all its cracked up to be.
