tried some pause dead lifts, didn’t really like those. I gotta be real careful doing deconstrucitve deadlift movements and not hurt myself doing them with crap form.

Your front squat numbers and volume are impressive to say the least.
I am quick off the floor, somewhat weak in the middle and can lock out anything I can get to my knees deadlifting. Paused deads have really strengthened the middle section of my pulls.
If you feel your weakness on deads is in the middle section of the lift I would give the paused deads a chance. As much near maximal volume as you do on your regular deads I would do the paused deads somewhere around 70% for 2 or 3 triples after your main work.

Right now my deadlift weak point is probably off the floor and also following through up to shin. Once I get it to the knee I can usually get it going. I honestly however feel I’ve lost a degree of leg strength over the years, but on the flip side I am getting better with grip, trap, and lil upper back strength. Butt , hammie,and posterior I need to rev up maybe.
Today I tried to get some carries in but the field had people skiing on it. There was that much snow, so I did not attempt besides loading up the bar then changing my mind.

Deficit deads are the variation of choice if your weakness is off the floor. Pulling over double your bodyweight you don’t have much of a weakness deadlifting.
What is your ultimate goal on the push ups in a day?
yesterdays push up total 165. I did most in sets of 12 which was a bigger rep set then I had before.

As for the push ups, no real set goal yet. Just adding 5 a day every day so far. I know I’ll hit a point where it’ll be to much but for now I am REALLY noticing a change on my chest and shoulders - looks-wise! I like it! I don’t do much upper body at all, so the push ups in themselves are making a big change.
Had to bounce so I can get a walk in with Mossimo before the storm hits. Selfishly I hate having what seems as if most of the snow fall this season on my weekends. I haven’t been able to do carries in almost a month! Too much snow on the ground or too cold, icey, unsafe… >:(
Today just cardio, pull ups and push ups. Snow dumped from last night and this morning is nice n fluffy but not safe for the outdoor stuff I wanna do. Ah well.

Had a brief bro attack this morning. MY GOD. Out of no where a herd of wankers swarmed the rack next to me to do mp’s. Of course they all had to go one after the other–all 4 guys of mixed ages and levels of sizes, voice volumes, stupid outfits, etc-- so I had to wait forever to change my wt’s onto he bar. Whipping belts onto the floor, hooting like losers. For fuck’s sakes. But as quickly as they swarmed over they left in a flash after what felt like an eternity but was more likely less then 10 minutes.
Rumor has it that your icy stare combined with the new upper body size from all of the push ups intimidated the wankers and forced them to their alternate gym where they completed their workout with several sets of curls in the squat racks and many high fives.
DB stole my comment. I was going to add, being in the presence of ‘The Fury’, would require Bro-backs, or backup for said Bro’s. Not able to handle it otherwise…plus the hand offs of the 95lbs. MP bar.
