Today is HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT. I did a bunch of errands and melted in my car but before all that I did cardio
15 mins elliptical, 15 mins step-mill, 20 min rower<–I LIKE that rower!!!

I do not like that Moss has explosive gi upset. He snuck some creek water yesterday and woke us up at 3am with intense urgency! Almost made it without an event in the house but it happened this afternoon…ugh…Also he regurged a ton of watery saliva in my lap this morning. Thanks, Giardia!! The protozoa that keeps on giving GI UPSET!!!

messed with the belt squat and I think I might have figured out a way to make it work for me

A bit frustrating today for lifts but I’ve come to a few conclusions- knees look good on the 190 but I tire too much and reps 6 plus get harder to correct so I need to drop down the wt for that amount of reps not looking wild

ALSO- that finger less grip/bar supported on my bone structure is just not going to work for me. Its too painful on my shoulder. So until I can get one problem fixed- the knees- the grip/bar position will be a work in progress,

I can’t remember; ever try something like this?? We’ll figure out something, to keep you Brute Squatting ::))

Maybe, straps along with a long(er) pad on the bar…

Or we could just wrap it in Teddy Bears and…(runs away…runs away!!)

Z!!! I am unsure if the straps will help but I’m willing to try! And the pad I don’t think will help either OR THE TEDDY BEARS! Though I’d happily use a teddy bear bar! :D!!

With the no finger grip I have been doing the last few weeks the bar rests on the knuckle part of my clavicle/humerus and its PAINFUL like I’m gong to crack this bone painful. I think the whole idea of doing no fingers on the bar is to have it rest on your delts but I have tiny delts and also can’t seem to figure out how to get the bar there–on the tiny delts- without a wild wide hold. The bone on bar is painful! Regardless I’ll use less wt so maybe I can tinker a good position. MEH!

A real trend in my mind and body is the happier I am in life the less I am willing to submit to pain or discomfort! I am a lucky person and feeling good…And I’ll just have to figure it out.

That step mill though is TOUGH. Hardest cardio machine around!

← video below so it makes sense and also so I can get an idea of my bracing etc for rows. I am super novice on rows and I know they can be hard on your back if you mess about.

messed about with stones and had some trouble so I tried sand bags instead

And CHEATING!!! :D!!! I found a spud strap that I know now the use for–its for getting an a obnoxious stone up without having to lifting it like a stone, its a thing that you use to grip it.

I tried this on the 205 one. I’ll work with it more because I can tell it’ll help. Lapping the stone is hard, but its also hard to hoist it up, The 205 stone is wider so my brain freezes and gets stuck on that and I can’t get past it. I’ll not giving up! And I will cheat until I don’t have to!

Today I tried to do carries but had no success. I got scratched by a cat yesterday at work and my right ring finger knuckle is NOT happy! Nail punched right in the joint area! I just couldn’t get a grip or pull anything . Did this instead.

I LIKE this Derek. The BB gym “fixed” the ghr they have there but its now a MESS!!! I have no idea what kinda plan the repair people had for this thin but its pretty much unusable for ghr’s but you can I guess do extensions on it. The derek thing is fun! And the idea I believe is the less counter balance the harder it is. So there’s that.
