Feeling lost and un-anchored but with the lifting I’m just plowing through. Nothing inspired or wild feats will be going on here for a while. The lifts are doing their job and I’ve got a great support system, old and new. I’ll be ok!

I guess now is the time and there’s no good way to say it. Mossimo is now in Heaven. I don’t want to write about it- the specifics because its just too hard right now to do it.

He never knew it was happening and I’m so thankful for that, he never suffered. He made everyday better than the last for me- truly. I miss him like I’ve never missed anyone before its an entirely new experience. I know that he was an angel, he changed my life in so many fucking incredible ways.

HOWEVER! I did end up having a great 4th! I was hung out with my family, ate a bunch of good food, hung out with family dogs, and topped off the whole thing with a WAY COOL high rise fireworks display courtesy of a Beefcake!!! And tons of sleep after!!! The best 4th of July that I can remember for sure!

First time using the yoke in a long time. I went in today with no real goal of lifting, just a misc day but saw someone use it and figured I should too!

I’ve been spoiled and pampered the last few days with warm thoughts, great views, circus chihuahuas, cookies, fluffy eggs, good vibes, and extra time with glamorous company the last few days. I’m very grateful!!

I also got to go to Cirque du Soleil!!! :D!!! SO COOL!!!

My grip is REALLY behind and I can’t really figure it out. I tried the handles with 182 which was what I’d been able to do fairly well weeks ago and its not happening. i guess I just need to rebuild it again. gives me something to do!

Here’s the sand bag load. that f%cking 205# stone just has my mind completely perplexed when I get to try to get it. So bags until I can figure that thing out. I weighed the bag too, it is 200.

t bar carries- x nothing. I could not get my grip going. I loaded up plates, I unloaded for less wt I just couldn’t get it together, Crying in the gym…uh for fuck’s sake. My hands work but my will today suddenly disappeared.

I tried to switch up and salvage something, loaded the 167 stone up on the thing, just nothing in my bag of tricks to pull out a workout today even though going into the gym I felt normal I suppose i was not.

This kinda frame of mind calls for a restart of my day. Nap until I have to go to work and just try again next time. MEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.

I had to stop at 10 for the pull ups. Honestly its all I’ve ever wanted and STILL just want is to be able to do a set of ten and I can. I won’t let them go and I have also some seriously angry elbows form them. Lil Bts will have to do.

Today I did not go to the gym in the am because what I believe to be BAD CARROTS gave me a hell of a night of gut pain and vomiting! That or a brief gastric bug the surgery team had this week…

SO I went to work and felt ok upon waking up and just desperately wanted to get some kinda lifting in. I went to bb gym on my lunch break. UHHHHHHH!!! HA! Yeah so that went well.

200x5, 200x3, 200x4…fell away a bit more with sets of 200 x 2, then a few 195 x sets of 2…I just cannot lift as well if its not first thing in the am. And forget it if its midday during work.

I was almsot upset about it but to be fair the reps I did get in looked good. It might take a few cycles of the concept I’m following for it to work to the level I want it to but it is working. Telling myself that made me feel a bit better for them being as hard as they were.

I don’t want to be a baby about stuff yet this month has absolutely had significant stressors in it for sure. I’m logging this so I don’t forget come next year so I can keep track and take stock.

"HEEEEEEYYY!!! JUST DON’T GET YOURSELF INJURED!!! " I tell myself, and if I can manage that I’m doing SEVEN kinds of fine.
