Tired! The stones make me work! The strangest is my feet get tired. I guess I curl my feet to grip the floor or something because I could use a massage on my arches!

A bit fried STILL from the stones! So I need to figure that in. I won’t stop the circuits since they helped. It’ll be a rough ride until I acclimate. They feel like how I feel after a big dl day.

I have really long humerus, radius and ulna bones ( monkey arms) making holding a bar a bit harder to not tilt my elbows it in the process. And I do not have the size shoulders to not really be painful on my bones for a one finger grip. I will try em at turbo gym !

Today I tried day one of finger less grip front squats. it went much better hten I expected–uncomfortable but not as bad as I anticipated.

No more because it hurt! The finger-less grip! What hurt was the bar on my boney shoulders- not an injury just uncomfortable. I think I had a grace period Monday, but developed some bruising. I 'm keeping it up so it’ll just be ouchy for a bit until its not. Day two for fs will just be more uncomfortable.
I filmed stuff from a front angle today to get an idea how bad my form was - it wasn’t terrible. What was and has been an obvious issue is my left knee cave- its always just leftie. I know I know there are probably a million ways to fix this. I’ll have to figure it out. Leftie caves for deadlifts too.

Scotto! I ditched the idea for the straps because I thought it’d just create even more length for me to drop down with my elbows–but I could be off. I don’t have a flexibility problem clean gripping the bar, I have a drop problem with my elbows and my knees are caving because other stronger muscles of me take over the lift!
I believe my general confidence that i CAN move the wt is finally there. I also was under the assumption widening my stance would help with my problems which it does not for me. If my quads want to take over then I’ll give em that at least.
SO the zombie squats are for better form!! Also they hit my upper back a ton more that fs ever have. I wish I wasn’t so tender yesterday because I was looking forward to doing more!!!

Tons of ideas I’ve spotted lately and I am going to implement them here and there. One being getting use out of my belt. It took the farmer’s handle carries to notice such a change in stability and I am into it now- belt it up!
I am in a sour mood today. I have a kinda sorta reason- having to wait around for apartment people to inspect my house. I’m probably hormonal too.
OH you know, a team of inspectors will show up any time between 9-5p Thursday or 9-12p Friday. Not cool for people who work nights–or go to bed before sunset! or have dogs! And super short notice! BLEHHHH.
I must keep saying to myself “At least I can afford to rent a apartment, at least I have a dog to worry about!” which typing it that way does actually help a lot! Alright Brute!! Get over it!
I found my first time stone experience, first ever competitive event- in a better link then a wild myspace one. I went to this competition having zero idea what any events would be and only experience in 2 of them. 2009 or 2010. We did axle press, dead lift medley, truck pull, stones, and a kettle ball clean and press I think.
I was the only girl there and they had to make up stuff for me to do since they didn’t plan on a lady lifter. It an accurate example of my general approach in life. Taking forever then finally sorta getting things together. Might have the ability, however for sure lack the confidence initially.
The organizers however were so nice to me!!! HAA!!!

Prowler kicked my butt and my legs feel 1.5 times the normal size! I found a pair of farmer’s handles at the BB gym today! Now, just have to figure out which wt plates I’d be allowed to use.
I got yelled at years ago for using plates outside and the owner made me put down a tons of pads on the concrete for outdoor carries. This is what made me buy my own stuff. It’d take 20 minutes to set up a bunch of misc rubber pads outside and I lost my patience for setting it up each time.
I’ll have to see what they let us use because that outside parking lot is quite good for carries! A long concrete stretch with a tich of a hill to it. I’ll find out!
Today just cardio- elliptical x 15 minutes, step mill x 12 minutes, then rowing machine x 19 or so.

I am totally out of sorts with my training since I’m trying new things WHILE working on fixing others so I am confused. The fs bar position is hard–it really does hurt- right freaking shoulder bone most! No idea why its that side vs the other, I must be a bit lopsided.
This a challenge for me and my freaking nervous system but also since I personally lift for that feeling after lifting! The wonderful tired, feel like you did something feeling! I added the prowler to get that feeling and it worked.
