How do you do your wraps? Im suprised it seems you get so little out of them… what length and how many revolutions are you getting?
I’ve only used them twice and I’m positive I’m not doing them correctly. Idk the length but 7-8
Describe to me how you wrap or post up a video… i start just below the knee cap and get 5 revolutions up to maybe a hands width above the knee cap then get 4 on the way down before i loop to end the wrap and that seems to be the best way for me. Idk how much I get out of them though but its more than you seem to.
also just takes time to get used to… if you tie them right a wrapped squat feels completely different than a regular squat to me
I’m definitely doing it wrong…I start at the top and work my way down but don’t come back up with it. The only thing I know is to keep my leg locked when wrapping it.

Ok if you start at the top, I would start like higher ike 1/4 up your quad and then get 5 or so TIGHT wraps down… it should hurt to all hell legit it should cut off your circulation to your shin almost… then once you get to below knee cap get one going diagonal across it and wrap back up to the top and tie it off… Also always tie OUT not in on the knee… knees out in squat… if you tie them in knees will cave in so you tie out

Thanks man, appreciate the tips. I need to put in some more time with them and gonna start squatting 2x a week one specifically just with wraps.

hahaha, shit.
In an effort to up my squat poundages this will be my Saturday session. This is Paul Carters short-15 cycle
Numbers based off week 6 goal so 345 for me
Week 1: 80%x1, 70%x8, 8
Week 2: 85%x1, 75%x5,5
Week 3: 90%x1, 80%x5,5
Week 4: 60%x5
Week 5: 93%x1, 85%x3,3
Then some deficits
When you get through your current squat cycle, holler at me man. I’ll give you something that might help get your poundage up if you’re interested.
By the way, I rarely use knee wraps, however, with North Carolina love this might help…

A couple things.
-
That trojan almost cost you way more than 50 bucks.
-
Brandon Lilly just posted up a video on how to wrap if you can track it down. If not remind me and I’ll find it this weekend.
