I’m a genetic freak…below the knees. I have relatively big calves for my size. Never really worked them out, although lots of cycling in my late teens might have helped.
My pecs and biceps, however? I’ve worked 'em lots, yet they’re still puny. So I’m probably also a genetic freak in that department, only on the losing end this time.
I’m not. But a friend of mine is.
He is 5’5", currently 155lbs (has competed in powerlifting and O-lifting at 148lbs).
His arms and back are huge for his size (he’s my height!). His legs are no bigger than mine, but he Olympic back squats 405 for an easy set of five. He has benched 391lbs at 148lbs.
He wrestled in high school and took up powerlifting in college. He turned to Olympic lifting at 30 years old and is now 37. He has placed 2nd and 3rd nationally every year since and went to the Olympic trials two years ago.
He can go without benching for six months or more and still hit 315 for five reps with no training. After four weeks, he’ll hit 365! He was born strong from day one. He’s a FREAK.

Shit, I’m out.
Um, my dad was like in the Navy and stuff so I’m a freak swimmer. He’s also a doctor and sometimes I can heal people just by touching them. It’s a genetic gift. Oh, and he was a pilot and when I jump off of things I can fly a little.

Geez…your friend definitely qualifies a genetic freak. it sounds like he can bench about 350 without training since he can hit 315 for 5. You mentioned he benches 391, did he ever go beyond that? It would be surprising if he never did since he has such high base strength. I would think it’s relatively easy for him to slap on 100lbs on the bench with some training.
My IQ has tested at 138…does that qualify?

He’s benched 409lbs once when he was competing back in the day.
I’m sure he could do more if he used equipment and focused on benching again. He does it for “fun” every 6-8 weeks or so now.
I have a genetically gifted colon. I can clear out a room with a single protein fart.

This is a great quote
I inherited a strong lower body from my Dad. He went from skinny high school geek to monster thighs and calves being able to squat 700+ and run 35 miles on the sand and surf at the beach every week.
Are you retarded?

That pic in your profile of your vertical jump in front of the BBnet is awesome!!!
Yes Sir…you are a freak!!!
yes
my dad is 5’9 170lbs and my mum is 5’2 145lbs and i would almost be adopted at
im 6’1 and 270lbs ( accept i have my dads hair loss and weak teeth). The other freaky thing i did was the first i ever did squats (after spending two weeks using just the bar to learn technique) i was 19yrs and 230lbs, i squatted 440lbs for 2 reps ( no pause but to below parallel. That freak out some powerlifters who were teaching me. Got to 670lbs in 18 or so months. Car accident 6 weeks after that lift and no lifting for 10 years. However as a farm boy growing up i carried 90lb plus bags of grain and threw around 50-80lb bales of hay. There must have been some carry over and I may not be as freaky as i thought.

Hey, me too!
Mine should be classified as a weapon of mass destruction.

No a massive penis can be counted.
One…one massive penis ha ha ha ha.
I am definitely a genetic freak. Despite reasonable muscle mass, I am incredibly weak.
To the OP
I can’t tell if you were shitting around or not, but fuck. that was hilarious. omfg. Those lines would make Darwin come back and bite your ass.
I think most of us naturally assume we’re genetically gifted. Since quite a bit of us are at the teens/early twenties, our choices of a gym arn’t always the pros one. I go to YMCA and there people are always surprised when an “asian” kid actually picks up the weights - let alone bench/squat more than them. But once you visit T-Nation you automatically find out there’s a world of stronger lifters than you. That and the fact that teens and young adults generally have more of an ego problem.
That being said, I think I’m a little above average. I didn’t do shit up to high school and was generally the fastest kid in most of my classes. My squat/and deadlift … however could use a lot of work.
