Are You a Genetic Freak?

You genetically inherited recovery from your dads stint in the army? Nice…What kind of school did you go to?
A meathead prep school for athletes.

Sifu, you are much too humble. Your freakiness is unequivocal.

Or millions of years, considering we all have non-human ancestors.

True, I was limiting the argument to human ancestors.

No. But its difficult to sa. The harder I train and the better I eat the better my genetic seem to get (think i have heard that before).

Uh Oh, how tall is your local mailman? :)
Ahahaha!

I think I might be a genetic freak. I have an extremely large nutsack.

Dude, me too. They’re a novelty. Lion balls, if you will. If only they produced test relative to their size I’d be HYUUUGEEE!

I can maintain 10%/visible abs eating massively(5000cals/day) and have gained 20pounds of muscle in 4 months in a clean bulk, lifting twice a week and swimming as the primary sport.
Now, it’s worth mentioning the 20 pounds were from 130 to 150 @5’6" so it may be enough to discredit being a “genetic freak,” but it’s usually impossible to gain weight like that when burning 1000s of cals swimming.
But yes, noob gains probably did have something to do with it.

Deadlift goal of raw 405@160 by the end of the summer, when I turn 16.

I definitely am not a freak, but have quite good natural leg strength. Everyone in my family is generally stronger than the average person, without any lifting.

My grandfather used to weight train for well over 20 years and after about 27 years of not lifting, at the age of 67, we walked into the Dick’s Sporting Goods store and he strict curled a 50lb dumbbell for 2 reps! No warmup or anything! His back really hurt for the next two days, but still, that was seriously impressive.

YEAH squatdr is a genetic freak

nope, i definitly am not

Yeah, I used to be a genetic freak, until my operation.

Now I’m just a plain freak.

I seem to recover faster than average. I wouldn’t exactly call that being a “freak” though because I have seen some guys who grow muscle simply because they breath oxygen. I would say my “genetics” are above average. “Freak” is relative.

To me, as far as bodybuilding, “freak” is to have 17" muscular arms in the 5th grade like a friend of mine did. Sadly, these are usually the people LEAST interested in seeing just how far they can go.

My ancestors were farmers, factory workers, and there were a few lumberjacks. I’m the strongest kid in my grade, but nowhere as strong as kids in other schools. There was a guy last year who hit a 315 bench at 16 y/o, and he never lifts. He just works on the farm all the time.

I’d say I have a good lifter’s body, wide shoulders and a thick frame. The only reason I’m the strongest is because I know what I’m doing and I work hard. In no way am I a genetic freak.

I have the ability to leap over buildings, fly faster than a speeding bullet, stop a train in its tracks, and use x-ray vision to watch girls changing.

Otherwise, pretty standard stuff…

That photo of the vertical is beyond insanity.

Could you please make a video of a 3xBW raw squat, and post it here? That would be sweet!

I haven’t seen anyone that height get anywhere near that high off the ground in a long time. Maybe that’s a miniature basketball court…for midgets.
