Now i know what you are probably thinking, and I myself find this hard to believe, but has anyone out there tried this before?,i found an older thread about this subject, but it became a debate about Charles Poliquins"1 day arm cure" etc,and didnt really answer the question.
So,if you did this routine only 1 to 2 times a year, while reducing overrall volume,
1.Would it work?
2.Could you use a similar workout for other bodyparts?

Hey guys,
I was looking in an old flex mag the other day and came across an article claiming to “add an inch to your arms in a day”.
This workout (and similar variations) has been brought up more than a few times on this board. No one has ever reported gains that stayed longer than a few weeks. The gains they did note were do to swelling and went away after a couple weeks.
Depending on how advanced you are in training, it may take years, a substantial increase in bodyweight and a increase in the amount of weight you are moving (more weight for same reps or same weight more reps) to put any appreciable muscle on your arms. You are going to be disappointed and not to mention temporarily incapacitated if you think you are going to get your guns to grow an inch with such ridiculous amount of volume in 24 hours. That being said however I am not world renowned expert on the topic though …

Yes it will work, and you could use it for any bodypart. Its not going to be “real” muscle, its going to be fluid accumulation, and it will be very hard to maintain.
Stop looking for the quick fixes, and put the time in to actually add an inch.
masfonos - I don’t know how experienced you are, and I hope not to insult your intelligence…but:
If you want to add an inch to any bodypart, you better be prepared to increase your bodyweight too. If you wanted to add an inch to your arms, you should expect body measurements to go up all over too…unless you’re specialising (something mainly only advanced bodybuilders need to be concerned about).
To give a rough idea, you may need to weigh an extra 20lbs of relatively solid weight (or more) to have arms that are 1 inch bigger than before. Also, your lifts will need to have improved by a lot. As an extreme example, you can’t expect to have 18 inch arms weighing only 150lbs, and you can’t expect to have added much girth if you’ve only added 20lbs to some lift.
There’s just no point in worrying about measurements such as this at a beginner/intermediate stage…worry more about the “bigger picture”. That applies to me too lol
