55 Down 30 to Go

Well today it happened, the day I’ve been waiting for, for the last 8 months!

I have officially lost 70 lbs!!! Todays mid week weight 218.1lbs.

I guess I should change this thread title to down 70 20 to go? My wife keeps telling me I’m too skinny but I still have fat on me and until thats down to a manageable amount I won’t quit, she says I have Manarexia, LMAO.

My gf has started telling me if I lose any more I’ll start looking dumb, I said I’ll start looking like I should for my overall strength level (I’m fucking weak truth be told)…

She also asked me like 3 times in a row if I had an eating disorder… since I don’t have food in my apt, she is questioning what I eat, and since I’ve hidden V-Diet from her… my answers are like… I dunno it varies… hahaha

Well she’ll be quiet once I restock today… funny how were both in the same boat… so V-Diet… i lost 10 lbs. Weak. fucking weak. but at the same time I lost 14.5"… sweet, fucking sweet…

I really need to get a BF test… I want to see if my gym can do this for me free of charge… I look at peoples pictures and see them at 210 lbs and exploding at the waist and thighs and everywhere… and I look at my own pictures and I feel that I’m either more dispersed… or I’ve got a lot more muscle than I think.

BW: 229 this am… but I’m still gunning for you you skinny manorexic bitch… my goal for my bday was 225… that should be attainable (sept 12th) and after that I’ve set new goals:

Dec 25th –

Bench 225
Pullups 10 consec
Pushups 100 consec

I really need a Max Effort bench day to re-evaluate my bench goal… I don’t even know what my 1RM is currently.

Looks like my V-Diet thread has come to an end, and I will be re-starting my old log in this thread…

I was starting to wonder where you’d ran off too.

10lbs may not be much to you but it’s still 10lbs, hang in there, it’ll happen.

I like the goals, other than weight loss I haven’t establised strength goals yet, that shall need to be done once the dieting is over.

I’d stated before I was going to start gaining weight the first of September and since the progress is much slower than I’d expected I’m going to push that, not sure until when but looking at November??? I really wanna get to 200ish first.

I’m leaving for vacation at midnight tonight and driving 14hrs to Houston (oh joy) so I won’t have access to this thread much if at all. This will be a true test of my diet, I think I’ll manage. Suck thing no weights and doubtfull I’ll get much cardio in, we’ll see. I am taking my bands so I can do some resistance training if I get time.

Yea as far as weigh goes… I’ve given up on tracking my progress… I had this big thought that 235 would make me look fit, 225, would make me look fitter, and 215 would be lean beast…

Looks like in actuality i’d need to hit 205-sub200s to get to those levels… unless I increase muscle mass…

So I’ve decided to keep my diet in check, and start working on strength goals… I can’t possibly get fatter while training hard and keeping a strict diet… so the only place to go from here… STRONG

I’ve got a body weight resistance band (deload) workout in my head that if I can make the time will be the way to go the next 2 weeks. Gotta make do. I read an article I quoted here a while ago about SF guys doing different things when they were stationed in 3rd world countries, if they can I can.

It’s a beautiful day outside, just got cooled off from my HIIT day. Only made it up the stairs 9 times today, it was a real chore. After the first one my legs felt like bricks and it was down hill from there, I gave it everything I had but didn’t seem to get as much done as usual, hopefully the vacation will do my body some good, I’ll take new pictures when I get back, hopfully with a tan.

Well I’m back! Yea for me! Vacation was nice, except for the rain oh and the shit diet. I tried to stick to it but there really wasn’t ever a chance. I tried to watch portion size was about all I could hope for I suppose. Managed to gain 5lbs, now I’m not sure thats actual fat or what, I’ll assume it’s part water part fat. Oh well, it is what it is, a set back but not that big of one.

Today I’m not working and have eleventy billion things to do so tomorrow I’m back to the diet, who knows maybe the break will work in my favor.

I’ll post some pictures later.

Yesterday I started back on the diet, all chicken and almonds all day. Today pretty much the same things only because I forgot to bring my broccoli, oh well.

Tonight I have orientation for school. Monday it begins, 11 months of no sleep and hard work but in the end I’ll have my NSCA certificate and be on my way to a worth wild career, finally!!!

Going on my first HIT run in a while, I’m stoaked.

That run was just want the Dr. ordered, my day has sucked balls at my hole called work so getting some frustrations out on the stairs really helped me out.

OMG I’m so ready for a new job.

Went to orientation last night, I was really surprised that of the 5 or so people in the trainer class I was by FAR the biggest guy in the room, I mean by 40lbs or more, I was expecting some good sized boys, not so much.

Diet again today:

F’ing Chicken and almonds, yippie FN skippy.

Guess what I had for dinner last night, you guessed it chicken, this time no almonds and some broccoli. My wife knows I’m eating chicken at the gnass yet she made me chicken for dinner??? It was however nice of her to cook, that was a plesant surprise.

Got in another run of the stairs today, sweatin’ my nuts off! The heat today is deceptive, it doesn’t seem real hot but my clothes were soaked from all the sweat.

Over all a good run, tomorrow I hope to have dropped a good portion of the 5lbs I gained over vacation, we’ll see it’s only been like 2.5 days but I’m optimistic.

You’re not gonna believe this shit!! This morning I weighed in at 215lbs, thought my scale was fucked up so I weighed twice 215.6 and 215.8! Crazy! The chicken and almond diet is a SUCKsess.

Ahhhhhh Monday! The smell of disappointment is in the air. Back to work after a way to short weekend.

Diet this weekend was fair, Saturday was solid, yesterday was a bit shakey but it was cheat meal day so I’m not gonna harp on my food choices.
Today I start school to get my training cert, Monday-Thursday 6p-10:30p so much for good sleep though the week. The good news I’ll basically be working out a chit ton. I intended to do my regular workout MWF plus what ever BS workout we have to do for class, I’ll be getting in some walking and HIT at lunch and on Tuesday/Thursday I’ll have an hour before class in which to get in some more walking at the school, look out RIPPED here I come.
