Last night was the first class, anatomy II, not sure why we skipped one but thats how they roll. It was LONG, 4 hrs about cells, I followed along well but about 9:30p my mind gave up. There was a study guide we had to fill out from our notes and no matter how hard I tried it seemed to all be written in German, I just couldn’t think, may be time to order some more Power Drive.
Hit the gym at school last night, it’s decent, better than my home gym. Here is what I did, my first session in 2 weeks.
This morning I have some serious DOMS working, may have pushed it a but far last night but it’s a process.
Tonight we’re supposed to have a TBT session at school so we’ll see how they want us to lift, I’m going to keep it lite so I can continue my training as I see fit.
Sorry I didn’t log anything yesterday I had a shit load of stuff flying around in my brain so I didn’t F with it.
The diet was the same as it’s been for awhile no chance for anything different.

This was a wingin it routine, I’ve done the exercises before just never in this sequence, it was pretty cool, I can tell I hit everything.
At the end of class we went through a circuit my instructor put together, its one of those TONE circuits. There were several exercises I’d not done before, there were others that I’d done and forgotten. Most of these won’t make it into my routine but there were a couple that will be used at the end of sessions, such as leaning against the wall kness at 90* for time, this blew my quads and glutes out! Will be a nice finishing move on leg days.
Oh yea incase you missed it, I’m gonna be a daddy! Still hasn’t set in just yet, it’ll hit me sooner or later.
215 this morning again, not upset about it at all its a good weight but I’d sure liked to have lost something. Oh well.
Diet yesterday was fine except dinner I ate a medium pizza…yeaaaaaaa. No cheat meal this weekend.
Yesterday I also didn’t train, not even a walk I was so freaking tired, 4 hours of sleep per night all week had we exhausted, so I slept when I got home. Today I have a test to study for and will train shoulders.

Got a test tonight on the CNS, mother FN CNS!!! I thought to be a trainer all you had to do was lift heavy shit and tell others to do the same, didn’t realize you actually had to be smart, I’ve been dooped by the trainers at my old gyms. Seriously though Anatomy is not easy.
Man ain’t nothing working out for me today, first I was supposed to take a half day to go to the dr. with my wife so I didn’t bring all my meals or my PWO stuff, that got canceled so I had to buy food, now its raining so another day without HIT just a long walk but I should atleast get to workout tonight.

Over all a decent session, didn’t really move much weight, can’t wait to start gaining back some size and strength.
So last night was crazy!!! After baby dr. we went to TGI Fridays and got a 4pm meal, grilled chicken breast salad with strawberries, pecans and oil…awesome!! I ordered a to go dinner for later in class of shrimp and broccoli, it was good but cold by the time I ate it.
So the crazy part, got to school and hit the gym did a modified HIT, walked on the tread mill at 3.5 with an incline of 11, every minute 30 I hopped off and did 12-15 burpies, did this for 30min, afterward I was covered in sweat and pretty beat. Went to class, short day of learning then we had “lab” basically HIIT circuit our instructor put together.

station 1: Jump rope-I cannot jump rope but did my best.
Station 2: lat pulls-nothing difficult there.
Station 3: Lundge postion curls- these suck!
Station 4: Not sure what to call it, bussa ball on the ball, 90* squat position reverse “pec dec” thing with a band??? Lets just call these SUCK
Station 5: Planks- you know elbows on the floor on you toes no body touching the floor, 30seconds of these also SUCK!
Station 6: Jumping lung- mehhhh
Station 7: medicine ball bounce, catch, squat- Heres the thing don’t tell me to bounce the damn ball as hard as I can if the ceilings are only 9ft tall, you guessed it first bounce right into the ceiling tile, oops, guess I’m a bit more powerful than the other folks he’s trained.
Station 8: Bossa ball “chest press”- lame
Anyhow we did this circuit twice, doesn’t sound like much but if you really give it 100% it’ll kick some serious ass! Mix a few of these sessions in one or twice a week along with my normal W/O and I should be ripped!
What a crazy life I’ve got going on right now, no time for much but work and study. This weekend was ok just really short. Diet was just ok but I really felt like a couch potato all weekend, no real physical activity to speak of, road around in a golf cart for 5 hours Saturday, need to get back to walking now that it’s not 100 million degrees.
Woke up late as hell this morning and had to break a big rule of dieting, no breakfast, did have a fat hand full of pills, took extra BCAA’s for what its worth.
So far today I’ve eaten:
1/2lb turkey burger
7oz of steak
6 brussel sprouts and handfulls of BCAA’s and fish oil.
Got a test tonight, not sure I’m ready for it but as long as the rest of my class does bad I can still get the curve grade.
Where the hell is Blazin? I need some encouragement.

Yesterday while I was lifting my prof, who is also a trainer was in the gym training someone and must have noticed my workout because later in the day he made mention of how I don’t like functional training, he had us doing some kind of boso ball hump thing ab workout when he said it, I guess next time I want to fuck a large rubber ball I should be prepaired

Hopefully today I’ll get in some HIIT at lunch the weather has been so crappy lately I haven’t been able to get outside, today it’s just supposed to be cold.
My scale pissed me off this morning, I get on and it does this, 213,214,213,214…215 even, WTF??? Oh well, I’m predicting 213 or less Saturday.
Did yoga last night in class and believe it or not I liked it! However I’d prefer to not have done it the day after legs but what ever. The best part was we skipped the last hour of class to do it
Yesterdays cardio was cool, at lunch I walked 30min then after work before class I hit the treadmill for some make shift HIT, 1.5 min of high paced steep incline walking 30 seconds of burpies, did this for 15min then walked another 15min. I was sweating like crazy! Good times, good times.
Let me just start off by saying, I’M SO FREAKING TIRED!!! Got home from class around 10:30p and couldn’t get to sleep until midnight then woke up at 4:45a to start it all over…
That was it, just didn’t have any gas after that. The whole workout lacked effort and focus, this sleeping +/-5hrs a night is not good for any aspect of training but you gotta do what ya gotta do I suppose.

What to talk about today…the fact that I’m about to be unemployed, my anatomy class is coming to an end with 2 big tests, my contemplation of a new workout, my lack of sleep for the week, stress of a pregnant wife, what what what. How about my F-it attitude, lets go with that.
Between all of these things I’m stressed to the gills and have finally given up, for today anyway, I’m going to relax and enjoy Friday. Tomorrow starts a whole new list of problems and for this one day I’m going to sit back and enjoy the ride.
