Hey I’m doing the rest pause training that I saw under CT’s “The Best Reps” article.
I was just wondering because I am doing the 8 week outline to up your 1RM 30-40lbs.
I am wondering if it i should or shouldnt do anything a few days later (I bench 2x a week) so yeah I’m wondering if there should be another bench day where it’s just light and some accessory like tri’s, some shoulder work and some bicep’s. Or is it more valuble to just rest the full week?

i just finished about a month ago…i did that and then ring push ups 2 days later and that was about all i could do before my shoulders would ache a little
it’s very hard though…there wasn’t one week where i got all 5-4-3-2-1…for memroy i couldn’t have gotten more than say 9 reps on any of those days…didnl;t want to lower the wt though
oh i only did it for 3 weeks on 5-4-3-2-1, not the whole cycle
