Rest-Pause Technique

Hi,

I would like to try the rest pause technique for a full body extra workout to incorporate to my actual training program.

Does anyone have an example of a training scheme including the rest/pause technique to help me designing my own?

Thanks for help.

See Thib’s article about 54321. I think the name of the article is “Best Reps” It is a great rest pause program. Good luck.

also check out doggcrapp training. that program is based on rest pause. (along with widow makers)

doggcrap is good.

doggcrap is great if youre a more advanced trainee. Very few younger trainee’s will be able to go to absolute failure as their nervous systems have not become efficient enough to recruit every possible muscle fiber. Dante has stated this again and again and it is a large part of the reason he gives for strongly discouraging less experienced trainees from using his methods.

If you are too weak to start doggcrapp just do 2 or 3 working sets to failure until the toll becomes too great.

When your strength allows for you to do some real damage to your muscles then you can start worrying about rest pause, doggcrapp, etc…
