I am quite nervous about missing a rep on squats though…
If you’ve got the safeties set at the right height it shouldn’t be an issue, just ride it back down into the hole and drop it an inch or whatever the distance is from there. And if random spotters for bench piss you off, how many randoms in a gym do you think have the knowledge and ability to safely spot someone on a squat?

The first (and last) time I was in Vegas I nearly got arrested; I try to live vicariously through other people nowadays. You could be my other people.
What on earth happened to my training log. Banff is a magical place… I didn’t see any unicorns though. I have been playin a ton of soccer so haven’t been logging my workouts cuz they are terrible…

This is what happens when you don’t update your training log.

Real progress isn’t made only when one feels fantastic, it’s made on the days when you’re tired, when you’re sore, when you’re stressed out, when you’re still pissed off from work, when your personal life is in the shitter, when all you can think of is excuses for why it wouldn’t be so bad if you skipped a day, wouldn’t be so bad if you just hopped on the treadmill for a half hour instead of hitting the weights, wouldn’t be so bad if you had a milkshake or two on the way home, wouldn’t be so bad if you just looked and felt and performed and lived like every other fat lazy fuck out there because normal ain’t so bad. Those days, you push all that aside and you jump back into the trenches and you put in the work. Maybe you don’t hit any PRs, maybe you don’t ever find the groove, maybe every lift feels like the weight of the world is on your shoulders and it’s all you can do to push through to the end without crying, but at the end of the day those workouts are the ones that keep you moving forward when others falter, and that is something you can take pride in, and it is something that everyone here worth listening to understands because we’ve been there, we’ve felt that, we’ve lived it, and we won’t beat you down for having a shitty workout every now and then. Well, most of us won’t, anyways.
Besides, I bet your lack of logging is driving Spock up the wall.

They’re probably keeping updated on Facebook.
That’s what I figured too, but then again, there’s this:

WHO CARES If your workouts are shitty, still post them!! That way when they’re good again you have crap to compare it to.
THIS IS BS!!!
I have enjoyed the comments on the T-Nation articles there, especially the ones where the betas whine about women being more muscular then they are.
I haven’t seen too many T-Nation articles posted on facebook. Maybe I’m just living under a rock.
