Zeddy's Magic Beans

I have always been fit and athletic but recently have decided that I want to work on strength…
I have started the 5x5 workout…
A day - squat, bench, barbell row
B day - squat, overhead press, deadlift

I do other stuff in addition but this what I revolve around right now

I am 5’7.5"
151 lbs

I definitely lack upper body strength right now … so every day adding weight is rather exciting. I am hoping by posting my progress and getting some feedback I will be more motivated and more successful in reaching my goals.

I love MUSCLES!!!

Actual training log will start tomorrow…

I have had five views already!! I better make this more exciting!!
So i will put my last workout ( yesterdays ) up

Don’t forget I am just starting so I know my numbers are low… the goal is to up weight by 5 lbs every workout… so far so good except for barbell row where I am already stuck…

Squat - 5x5 @ 75 lbs
bench - 5x5 @ 60 lbs
Barbell row - 5x5 @ 75 lbs

Followed by assisted pullups
4x5 (-70lbs)

15 mins of upright bike intervals

Abs
11 exercises @ 25 reps each

Ok so this is Day 8 ( not consecutive but the 8th day I have done the workout)
I weighed in at 153.3 today…:S
Workout B
Squat
2x5 @ 45 lbs
1x5 @ 55 lbs
1x5 @ 65 lbs
1x5 @ 75 lbs
5x5 @ 80 lbs

Overhead Press
2x5 @ 45 lbs
1x5 @ 55 lbs
5x5 @ 60 lbs ( this was pretty hard for me, very last rep was MEEESSSSSSSY) so prob won’t increase weight on that next time

Deadlift
5x5 @ 110 lbs

Assisted Pullups (-70lbs)
5x5
Assisted Dips ( -70)
5x5

That was all for today, have soccer tonight so didn’t wanna go CRAZY
