I did the challenge with 20lb kettlebells with my palms down. The hardest part was actually grip/wrist. I got a poor hold with my left hand and you can see my wrist give out very early on.
I may do the challenge again with 20lb DB’s with my palms facing forward or possibly with kettlebells again but palms facing up. Doing it the way I did was a bit weird, as all the weight is supported by your thumbs basically lol.
But there ya go, 32 seconds. If you don’t have 20lb kettlebells, just use something else, and I’ll try it that way next week.

Wait, I also want to beat you (ehm, attempt to) on skull crushers, so I’ll be doing that aswell. [/quote]
Pretty sure I got 10 reps with 135 before, but I don’t know if I filmed it that time. I’m gonna try and bag 10 reps again maybe Saturday. On Wednesdays my triceps are too fried to go 100%.

So that’s my extra pressing volume I’m adding in on Mondays to try and make my overhead not abysmal. Not only is it bad, I think over the year and a half or so since I started seriously training it’s gotten worse lol.
Have you ever considered training with the conjugate system? It’s the best damn thing that’s ever happened to my bench press. It has added 70 pounds+ a pause to my bench in less than a year. I’ll probably have it up to 80-90 by the time it will be a year since I started it.

I’ll be on 5/3/1 for a while, but I’ve thought about giving conjugation a better try. The big strong guys at my gym train that way. He calls it training the way Westside did in the 90’s back when they were actually strong lol. I may train with them after I’ve been on 5/3/1 long enough depending on my results. Also it’s always good to train with competitive people rather than just doing your own thing which is what I’m doing now.
In the last year and a half or so my squat has improved hugely (legal depth lol), and my deadlift has gone up by probably 50lbs. Not as much as I want, but it’s still progress. My bench went up a ton initially, but in the last year I feel like I’ve lost about 20lbs on it. I was strongest on bench during the beginning of my Sheiko training. That’s when I started training all my bench paused, and I feel like my butt lift issue got progressively worse during this time to the point that I could barely legally bench by the time I needed to compete.
I’m not sure what happened to my press. My press and bench strength seems to have magically waned. Kinda depressing if I’m honest.

It’s double overhand axle deadlift for a 1rm from the floor, no straps.

Oh man I don’t even know. And when I say axle; I just mean thick bar. I don’t have a proper axle. Just use an axle or thick bar or even fatgrips I guess if you have to.
Let’s see… If I could get 450 I would be pretty stoked.
