Not gonna lie I only know 2-3 guys that could do that reasoanlably easy and all are fucking animals who could do that lol the NAS record is like 540 by a super heavy weight so 450 would be damn impressive. Hell if I can get 3+ I would be totally satified
D:
450 would be awesome. Maybe spar4tee territory.
let me know when you have a pussy challenge again like the crucifix hold
Correction world record is 484.5. have fun lol

It’s double overhand axle deadlift for a 1rm from the floor, no straps.
Gay I don’t like your selection I am making my own challenge good bye lol haha ok Ill have to break out my axle out of storage. What you shooting for?
Oh man I don’t even know. And when I say axle; I just mean thick bar. I don’t have a proper axle. Just use an axle or thick bar or even fatgrips I guess if you have to.
Let’s see… If I could get 450 I would be pretty stoked.
LOL 450 DOUBLE OVERHAND AXLE DEADLIFT. OKAY CHRIS.
Srs. My best is 365 on that. Mind you, it was on a slick 2" axle, not a typical knurled fat-bar. So if this challenge is to be done, you have to have a slick axle, and nothing with knurling.

Son, I am disappoint. I don’t recall GHRs ever being a hard movement. At all.

I don’t think I’ll keep updating my log anymore. I will however post feats of strength as they occur. I say try it anyway.

The ‘natural’ version is supposedly harder.

Hahaha I was just in a complaining mood
8/22/2013
This whole day isn’t really worth mentioning so if you want you can stop reading now. Worst training I’ve had in recent memory.
Bench:
45 10x
95 10x
135 10x
185 5x
225 5x
270 4x
270 4x
225 8x
So the weight here is pretty light and the reps are quite low for me. I had high hopes for today, but as I hit rep number 4 at 270 my shoulders just cashed out. I mean they were 100% dead. I didn’t expect that, but it makes sense I guess. I did 99 reps of overhead pressing on Monday, and I guess my shoulders were just fucked for today.
I’m not sure what to do. I literally couldn’t even get a bench workout because of my shoulders, but I really do want to do overhead twice a week. Is overhead cool to do twice a week? I think I’ll just keep doing it Monday and Saturday; I just won’t go quite as nuts on Monday with the volume. Maybe my bench will just have to play second fiddle for a while. Not like it was getting any stronger anyway.
So… being physically incapable of bench press today I just did bullshit.
I did a ton of cable preacher curls, because Hodge twins.
I did some tricep stuff.
I did some DB bench to try and hit my chest at least a little bit.
Did a little more miscellaneous arm crap.
Did that deck of cards game, although I went very light on the cardio and more on arm movements just to try and get a little more work in.
Spades were sledgehammer swings.
Clubs were pullups.
Hearts were blast strap JM presses (lol).
Diamonds were dips.
I think I’ve explained it before, but you just shuffle the deck and start flipping cards. The number on the card is how many reps you have to do of whatever exercise that suit is. Face cards and aces are 10 reps. The 10 is also 10 reps. So a lot of the time you’re doing 10 reps. You then time yourself to see how long it takes to get through the whole deck. 30 minutes or less is pretty badass.
This was a really easy round for me though, because of my exercise selection. I wasn’t really doing it much for cardio. My training partner however had a much more difficult time, because he did burpees, 80lb KB swings, pullups, and handstand pushups lol. Also the randomness can screw you sometimes. He had burpees and swings as hearts and diamonds, so those were his big cardio ones, and the more anaerobic ones were the black cards. Ideally they’re kinda spaced out so you get some rest time for each, but we had a 10 card stretch where we got basically 2 flushes lol. 5 diamonds and 5 hearts, and get this 5 out of 10 cards were 10 reppers, and the other 5 were around 7 or 8 lol.
One arm deadlift challenge?

Ah that’s a good one too. I’m gonna do the double overhand fat bar no-knurling deadlift challenge extravaganza max bonanza time tomorrow though.
I got 121kg/266lbs, then tried 141kg and lost it off the ground. Feel challenged.
