If you can convince my boyfriend to get rid of me… then maybe! =D haha

Seriously, that was great. You are outlifting most of the guys in my gym.
Perfect the technique, like others have said, and you’ll go far. Good luck!
Thank you so much! I am going to work on technique like you said for another 4-6 weeks and then go for 350-365… =D
I have to admit, I do love out-lifting guys in the gym!!!

OK Guys… here is the link to my video! Now one disclaimer: DON’T TRY THIS AT HOME!
My form went to CRAP on this lift and my butt flew up in the air! I basically “stiff-legged” the weight up… I needed to sit back, pull my heels into the floor and bring my hips and pull the weight into me…OH WELL… what’s done is done and stiff-leggin’ 315 ain’t bad either! =D
I am thinking with proper technique I could pull in the 350’s pretty easily…
The more I lift the less I understand standards with regard to strength. I have done little deadlifting in my life but made 2xBW in less than a year with no straps or belt. I am 185lbs and 35 years old.
Now if it was was BP then I would be following the standard of a 12 year old violin prodigy in the netherlands. 2X anything when it comes to strength is pretty impressive in my book.
mmglab727 - nice work on 315. Ever try a 3 lift total just for kicks? I am working for one near the end of the year in hopes I can get my weak bench out of the cellar.
I will not ask you to marry me because I am sure after you tied me into a pretzel you would laugh like Side Show Bob in his attempts to destroy Springfield.

For a male,2x bodyweight is the elite standard, but I’ve never seen anything for females. Anything close to that would be awesome, though. Very few women that I know even deadlift, so if you do, you are way ahead of the crowd… Keep it up!
3xBW is elite for male and female.
2xBW should be standard workout weight for advanced lifters.
