Wll my head grow?

I was thinking about going on a cycle of GH and I have a big head. I was just wondering if the hormones would make my head larger?

Which head are we talking here?

If you mean your brain case, no, although at very large doses it causes some bones in the face to grow. I have also wondered if it causes that gap tooth in the upper jaw like so many bodybuilders seem to have. Just a guess.

As far as the "other" head I have heard reports of enlargement in some cases.

Hmmm. I took 100-150 IU a day for 24 weeks, and my head actually shriveled up. Now my cranium is golfball-sized. The up side to this is that it makes my delts look a lot wider.

No, it won’t make your head grow. There is a small chance that, after extended use, you could possibly see some growth in the jaw, cheek, and/or brow area. Most of the horror stories you hear about involve extreme use over years. The kind of abuse you probably wouldn’t even be able to afford financialy.

As for the gap tooth. It can be the result of high gh levels, but this is usualy naturaly high gh. Something the gap toothed individuals had their entire lives.

It’s really hard to say if you will experience “head growth”. The proper term for the condition characterized by hand, jaw, and organ enlargement is acromegaly. Those with acromegaly have excess GH secretion. Theoretically it should take very large doses over extended periods to experience this if you are healthy but I cant promise anything. It is a risk you will take for sure (albeit a minor one).

Id better clarify minor risk. A big jaw and liver is not minor. I meant it is not a very likely scenario although it could happen.

The gap-toothed epidemic is caused by NATURALLY high growth hormone levels? Bullshit! Maybe one or two guys have had a gap in their teeth long before they lifted but it’s no coincidence that the majority of these pro freaks could floss their teeth with their tongue. Look at pictures of Flex Wheeler when he turned pro. His teeth wre completely straight. Now he has braces! I wonder why? Flip through that garbage magazine Flex and notice the wide variety of gap-toothed monsters.

Sig. When you see a gap toothed individual, don’t automatically assume it is the result of gh abuse. As I pointed out, this is very common in people with naturaly high gh. Arnold was well known for his gap and it’s rather unlikely he abused gh during the 60’s or 70’s. It is more than likely that many of these “genetic freaks” have higher than normal gh levels. Now, I’m not saying the current crop of “freaks” doesn’t abuse gh. I’m just saying that many have this gap due to their naturally high gh (Dillet has the gap and frankenstein looks in pictures taken well before his bb career). Also, I wouldn’t be so quick to point to Flex’s braces. There are many reasons a person might wear braces.

Ken P., so what are these “many other reasons” that Flex now needs braces? Did he suck iron cock to buy his drugs? I think YOU are a bit naive. I don’t think every gap-toothed bodybuilder is abusing GH, but the majority probably are.

Honestly, the fact that you even asked this question shows that you have no business being around GH, steroids and especially, needles.

Sounds like the last thing you’re prepared to do is experiment with your body’s hormone levels.

Leave it alone, melonhead.

Later. RyanB.

Easy there Sig! I completely agree that most are abusing gh. I’m just saying that the gap tooth isn’t always the result of such abuse. A lot of the top level guys have freaky hormone levels prior to beginning bb (aka geneticaly gifted)and developed their gap during puberty. The reason I’m not big on the gap tooth as a giveaway is that I’ve been around some very heavy gh users for a good ten years. From first hand observation, I’ve seen that this isn’t a common side effect(but I’m sure it’s possible). As for Flex, I have no idea what his reason is. Bite pattern or jaw problem? Molar alignment? Perhaps an issue from that car crash he was in years go? And, perhaps a gh issue? Only he knows for sure, but I wouldn’t go pointing fingers just because the guy started wearing braces.
