age: 21 weight: 175 BB: 190x5 but I can also do 79 push-ups, 91 sit-ups, and run two miles in 13 minutes, and now that i’ve slightly healed my bruised ego, i’ll go.
People should also be listing their heights here.
best flat = 315 for 4 (prefect form) 335 once (real ugly) Have a bad shoulder so i do not do flat that much anymore, more proud of my 275 incline (with bad shoulder) x4
Mine would be 330, in a competition (touch-n-go). It was my third attempt, and I didn’t think I’d get it, but it wasn’t too bad at all. My best lift in training had been an ugly 325 a few years ago. I didn’t know that having a crowd watching me lift would be so beneficial, but you really don’t want to miss a lift in front of a large group of people. Max incline…I’ve never really worried about. I would assume 275 with a couple of weeks of training. Max decline was 375 a few years ago. 6’2’', 245lbs, 23 years old.
43 years old, 6’1" 196 lb. 260x5 no wraps, nothing but shoes, shorts, and t shirt. I haven’t done a one rep max in years. Since I lifted that weight I’ve been fighting an impinged shoulder and it hurts to even bench 135 now. It’ll heal and I’ll be there again.
I did the 225 25 times at a strongest man competition. I use hydroxycuts for that extra umph. They give me a lot of energy and don’t make me shaky. I did 355 one day this summer just so I could outdo a cocky loudmouth bastard.
My best was 195 touch and go at a bodyweight of 128. 5’4" tall.
I’m 21, weight ~170…maybe 12% (soon to go down). I did 315 pretty easy a few weeks ago. I called that my max and started on a program to increase my max to 365 (i had a thread about it). I’m 4 wks in (its 10wks long) and so far I’ve nailed every rep, but things get really intense in the next few weeks so i don’t know.
Did I read your post right or am I reading too much into it. You warm up with 135 and press 165. Its not the weights that I am interested in although the are impressive for a female weighing only 12? lbs. That cant be your first warm up weight can it… Its 81% of your 1RM. Please tell me you do lighter warm up sets.
Since you train with Pat and said that you did 225 for 5 or whatever was that your first set or after a more thorough warm up.
im 240 pounds 6 foot 2 … 11% bodyfat bench 400 pounds … i play football and wrestle at a major division one college
recently because of cutting weight I went down to Bench at 275 for 1 rep. Before, my best PR is 325 for 1 rep. Oh, I weigh 152lbs. at 5’6".
Max Bench = 230 for 2. Bodyweight = 185 @ 12% …bodybuilding style training results in this type of enormous differential between size and strength…
I have done DB’s 8x80. I stopped, because it was not my rep protocol. I am an idiot. I never do BB’s. I will warm up with it though. 135x10.
5’9" 183 (not sure about bf% but I have some major love handles so it isn’t very good) and I can currently do ~225x6 but that’s while dieting and training with Meltdown and I’ve lost a little bit of strength in the past few weeks.
at a bodyweight of 225 lbs. 6 feet tall. i can flat bench press 225 lbs. for 31 reps. no belt, wrist wraps, or bench shirt.
At the WABDL World Championship in Reno a few weeks ago I hit 424lbs. I could have easily done 441, but I was too conservative, and hit the 424 on my third attempt. I was lifting at a bodyweight of 269. I am 6’1. I was wearing an Inzer denim Shirt. But look out, I am gonna hit 500 by my 28th birthday which is in June! I’ll keep you posted. ps: I am natural, although I have little against steroids.
i weigh 160 and i bench 95 lbs. twice, but i know i can get more once i get my new weider all purpose muscle building machine. ill post my new and most impressive stats soon. oh p.s. i could squat 135 untill i had knee surgery due to a dancing injury. im working my way up, and soon ill be squatting big again. mdog.
I’m a fatass at 6’0 228lbs. prob 19% BF doing rep count described in BFL wide grip, slow 2seconds down 2 seconds up, 12x95 10x115, 8x125, 6x135, 12x90, 12x90 one minute rest between sets and no rest on the last 2 sets. I have never tried to see what my so called 1 RM is. I guess I should try it out and see ![]()
Age:28 Weight:225lbs Height-5’9" Drug free no straps, gloves or bench shirt just a belt.
BB Bench:350lbs for 1 - DB Bench:130lbs for 5
Squat:420lbs for 4 - Deadlift:425 for 3
Leg Press:990 for 10, after doing this really damaged my left knee on the last rep, was fine until then - took about three months of rehab and now it’s fine.
I can close grip bench pretty much the same as flat BB bench. BB Bench is not my strongest exercise and I’m now having a little trouble with my left shoulder, not pain more like uncomfortable.
My strongest bodypart is legs, I can increase on all exercises more or less every week, although I’m currently doing high reps low weights to concentrate on upper body.
After doing Ian Kings Great Guns I managed to do 150lbs on the EZ bar curl, although now if I try and do high weights on biceps my forearms and grip are really painfull so I try not to anymore…
Cheers Stubob…
Last time I checked, 110kg (242lb)@170lb body weight. That was about 9 months ago in a competion (raw).
