Hey guys. I don’t post, but I do read ALOT of stuff on here. Anyways, I wanted some opinions on what I should do. I know the answer would probably be to bulk, so please hold back the flames.
So i’m 17 and my HS football season is about a week away from ending. (Playoffs could extend this) So i’m a senior, i’m 5-9 about 175. I worked my ass off in the summer and went from a puny 163 to 178ish, which is pretty good, I think. I’ve tried to stay in shape during season by lifting about 3 times a week or so, but I feel like i’ve gotten alot weaker. I’m not sure when powerlifting begins, but that’s definately something I want to join. I also want to run the 400m in track because of the success I had last year.
So my question is… What should I do to get as strong and lean as I possibly can while training for a 400m race? Any answers would be helpful as far as supp., diets, training programs, etc. I was doing the WSFSB II in the summer, and that worked wonders. Would that be good to do again? Thanks in advance
