His back width looks fine to me personally, especially if he were to lose some chunk.

Hmm. As everyone previous to me has said, chest.
I think you could try to put some more mass on your upper back. Middle Traps, etc (then again I just watched a best of dorian yates video, so I could be a little biased at the moment).
Back width looks pretty good imo. Your V from waist to shoulders is pretty solid, and will only get better whenever you decide to cut down.
Legs could use some more quad sweep/width.
Can’t tell about leg thickness/height because you don’t have a picture where we can see your hamstrings.
Do you train abs that often in your split? I know that some people ( I think Dave from the T-cell Alpha had this problem) neglect abs while at higher bf %'s, then when they cut down don’t have the abdominal development they want.
This is being very nit-picky though. Overall you’re pretty damn solid man. I’ll be very happy if I look like that by the time I’m 25 (not that you’re old, I’m just about to turn 20 next saturday).

I agree on this one.
Edit: BTW, nice bicep shot.
Would not like to meet you in a pair of football pads.
heres a crappy youtube pic, sorry no legs filmed miday at a buddies house with no access to shorts, too many fruits on youtube to pose in boxers…
WARNING: TERRIBLE POSING, MY APOLOGIES, I’m learning, I don’t even know most the mandantories yet.
Pretty dam thick dude.
Nothing really stands out as needing to be brought up, cutting down would help to be able to see but from the looks of things ya would be sweet cos would cut ya waist down so that nice V would come up and with decent legs like ya got you’ll have the overall X.
Nice work man, dam strong too !
~0:22 gives your triceps their merits, really a strong point to my eye.
Before I give any advice on weak point I better have something to back up ! Continue your good work.
damn you are big
nothing really stands out as weak to me
Look real solid in the video. When you’re ready diet down and I bet you’ll have an impressive physique. Learn how to pose.

You look thick as hell dude. Solid.
Areas I would focus on:
Chest jumps out first. Compared to overall thickness and your pretty solid arms, it just doesn’t have the pop it should. Do you incline often? if not, def make that a priority.
Back width isnt so bad, but you have a pretty wide waist it seems, so hammering that out will help. How do your chest and back days usually go?
Legs are solid, but with the wide waist, could be bigger I guess. I’m not one to talk though. How are the hammies?
I think you’d prob look really good if you cut down to sub 10% bf right now to be honest.[/quote]
Thanks for the feedback, I’ll be hitting the incline hard in the upcoming months. I do have a wide waist at 40, but when I was 190 it was only 32, so hopefully as I diet down it’ll get back around 32.

Yeah, it will definately be interesting cutting down. Hopefully I’ll be able to maintain a good amount of size.

Next update I’ll throw up some leg pics. I don’t train abs very often usually a few sets of stability work. I’ve starting adding in some more stuff to keep my back healthy. I’ve always heard the notion bbers shouldn’t train abs until they have a good concept of what their abdominal region looks like at a lower bf (I’ve never been any lower than 12%). I think Shelby Starnes (elitefts log, Tropinin) has some musings about this concept. Thanks for the comments dude.

I miss the days of playing defensive end. Lifting weights is about the only thing I can currently do that is similar.

Thanks for the compliments Stomp, your BOI vids have been full of intensity!

Thanks man. Well if your not going to give specifics, I guess I just have to improve everything!

Thanks, it was very interesting trying to hit some of the mandantory poses, I mean I’ve watched a good number of youtube vids and it’s definately harder than it looks. It gives me more admiration for the body control of some of the pros.
Dieting down will definately be interesting. I will definately leverage all the knowledge contained in these forums.

Thank you sir.
Awesome man you are looking thick. Nice to see you got up from 190 too and truely put on the weight. I’d be really interested to see how you’d look after cutting down.
Also, any specific reason that you dont deadlift? JW.

Thanks for the compliments. I am interested to see what happens after a cut.
I think the main reason I don’t deadlift:
Like everyone else has said, good mass! Good job, especially delts/triceps. Not much else to say, apart from chest…carry on with the incline and decline work…
As for the diet thing (when you do it), just bear in mind not to do it all in one go. In other words, break it up with higher calorie/carb periods. The best way to lose muscle or hit a brick wall with fat loss is to be on a diet for longer than 12+ weeks without any calorie/carb cycling.
Don’t cut carbs out completely either, another big mistake many make; energy goes down, you lose more muscle, intensity in the gym sucks, hormones get screwed up etc.
Good luck with your goals!
