Weird, but impressive

For strict presses, I can’t say that I notice much of a difference. If anything the difference would come from the weight being ever so slightly further in front of you due to the thicker circumference.
For the press with leg drive, I definitely notice a difference because the bar has zero flex. I think the more technical you are with your press, the more it will throw you off.

Um, not sure. Less than an hour, because no way I was taking 3 minutes between sets.

I refuse to repeat the others.
So I think you should more sets and more reps on each set, seem like you’re starting to slack a little. Nice shoulder day btw, I can imagine that Bob won the fight.

It was nowhere near as bad as it looks. They were only sets of 5.

Bunch of pull-ups today, pretty straight forward, and quite tiring towards the end. Also did a bunch of ab wheel rolls, which I have been neglecting during quarantine. Need to remember to keep those in the rotation, as it is the only direct core work I ever do. Might hurt tomorrow.

Yeah, no…that was a lot of pullups, and they definitely tire me out. I would rather do weighted reps and decrease the volume, but I don’t trust this cheap doorframe device to take more than about 10 kilo of extra load.

Day C+73

Active rest today. Me and Bob went a few rounds. As expected, my core is toast from the ab rolls. I can even feel it in my lats and triceps. If they didn’t hurt like hell to do, I would say they might be one of the most effective moves you can do, period.

Ate a big old pile of hotwings for dinner. I am going to fly past the 80 kilo again in no time.
