Ugh. Off day yesterday. A bit over-tired and underfed. Bad combination for squats. Did the work (and bumped up the backoff sets a tiny bit to punish myself). Everything felt terrible. Might be time for my Man-struation.

Well my PR is 9. So now you absolutely have to do 18.

No swinging or bringing legs up!? I tried those yesterday and alllllmost got high enough to cross over. After watching the form video apparently it’s common to swing a little and drive your legs into your chest quickly for momentum

Yeah, that is a good way to start, but if you really want to show off you do them with a dead hang and straight legs. The subsequent reps will obviously get a reflex and a little swing involved.

So you have never done one? Ten is a tall, tall order. They are basically a power movement, and you just run out of juice after a few.

Yea never done one. Just randomly thought I’d try a couple yesterday. I got close. If I use the cheater form I think I could do one now.

I run out of steam quick so maybe I won’t hit 10 lol
I’ll still try though. I shall film and post my victory muscle ups here when they are complete.
