IDK man, looks like @Cyrrex hit 82.5kg. That is a pretty darn good press. Your presses are looking pretty good too.
Also, there is always a bigger fish. After I did the 2 plate press, my buddy came over to congratulate me. I asked him what he could press, and he was like IDK, I don’t really do singles, but I have done 325 for 6 on the football bar. I didn’t feel very strong after that. This guy is a monster of a man though. 6’7" and about 350 lbs that isn’t very soft (he played o-line in college until hurting his knee).
Your strength to weight ratio is still way better than mine too. I’m like 205 probably, maybe even 210 lol haven’t weighed in a bit.
Obviously this is all just friendly banter, I’m sure you know that but I just wanted to make sure you knew. I’ve spent some time in a super unhealthy place where people’s logs were just one more thing to drive me down lower mentally
Of course. I draw inspiration from other people’s stuff, it never makes me feel bad about myself. I don’t feel bad about myself really at all, I tend to deliberately over-dramatize stuff just to amuse myself.
Boobies day. This is clearly where my strengths are at the moment. Any time I get 140 or more up on the decline (which is, like 4 or 5 times ever) then I am going to be happy. And a rep PR on the incline was okay, wonder if I can work my way to 120 on that.
Starting to think that pain in your neck is just you having a stroke.
But yeah, I have been putting off making any goal updates as I debate the pros and cons of putting on a few more kilo. Spoiler alert: I kinda started a few days ago, just not sure if I am committed to it.
I do have some numbers in mind, but holding off for a bit.
Press Day today. @wanna_be may be bad for my ego, but he is good for my motivation. It’s like having a mortal enemy. Anyway, this was a noteworthy step forward…doubling 85 on the topset (aaaaaaalmost had a 3rd, but not quite), and then tying a rep PR on 80 right after. This is what a few more calories and a Can Do attitude will get you. Was pretty spent by the time I got down to 60.
I finally broke down and stepped on the scale last night. I’m going down in weight. I’m gonna try and not change anything in hopes the trend continues! Gonna do 180lbs for my top set next shoulder day. So you better watch out!!
