I honestly don’t remember. I assume I was trying to wind him up for some reason.
Not to brag, but I would make a fantastic Canadian.
Isn’t politeness baked in to the Canadian way of life?
Exactly. What’s yer point.
I picture you more as a grumpy southerner, like Clint Eastwood in Gran Torino.
That’s me.
I’m more like a grumpy northerner.
Lockdown Day 77. Still no abs.
Off day yesterday. Weight peeking up over 80 again, too much weekend beer I think. Just did a very simple upper back day, but tossed in a bunch of abs/core and some curlsies.

Going for a run in a minute. After the last one, cruel app lady suggested an “optimized extra run” to help transition from the last sucky run to the next really sucky run (by repeating the last run with a shorter walk period). It’s like that bitch knows exactly how to push my buttons, because SCREW THAT.
As it turned out, I did not find the run any harder than the 10 (5) 10 from a couple days ago. Haha, you’ll not defeat me so easily, app lady.
23 minutes (no warmup or cooldown)
4.23 km
20 minutes actual running (12 - 8)
5.26 per km on the pace, which was faster than I was expecting. Covered the same distance in two fewer minutes.
Doing good things cardio wise these days, make sure you don’t go full on cardio queen and end up on runner’s world forums by accident.
There is very little chance of that. I really enjoy lifting and I really dislike running. That will not change. As has been discussed elsewhere on this forum, I just want to be a bit more…capable. And in better physical condition overall. I think this is an improvement. If it weren’t for the fact that I was on a specific program, I probably would already have cut it back. Longer term I would just like to run once or twice a week at my own pace and distance, but definitely nothing extreme.
Yea I think that’s similar to most on here, lifting takes priority and is just way more enjoyable, but no one’s wanting to be totally out of shape CV wise.
Me, too. The only problem is that my time limit is <10 min. I’m not sure if that’s going to do it…
I dunno, 10 minutes is probably fine. With a decent pace, that’s 2km. I think that would be pretty effective for the kind of benefit we are trying to get.
You found them abs yet mate ?
Depends on how we define “abs”, really.
Lol any kind of lines around the waist area is good enough for me!!
I have this fun combination of fat-abs. Actual ab muscles which are clearly being enhanced by fat and lines. It would be more convincing if I could get rid of the muffin top and love handles, but alas…I love beer and salt too much.
I think pics are needed at this point!
You already have that lifetime sub to my onlyfans, mate.
