Hey i have a question about weight loss/gain. This whole summer ive been trying my hardest to gain weight, i went from 155-170 and yesterday i got a really bad stomach virus and i have not been able to eat for around 30 hours, ive alrdy dropped 2 lbs and if it keeps on ill be losing even more weight that i worked so hard to put on during the summer.
my question is, is if im losing muscle or fat and is it easy to get that weight back?

Many people lose weight when sick like that. I suspect your weight will rebound quickly once you feel well again and starting eating.
im down to 164.5 this whole summer ive been working my ass off to put on weight and its going away with this stomach virus, am i losing more fat or more muscle? On the days where my stomach isnt too bad ive been eating and sticking with my workout so i can maintain my strength and muscle mass, any input on this? id rather be losing my fat then lose my muscle i worked on this summer.
Your body composition can’t change that fast. You just don’t have the normal weight of food and fluids in your digestive system. Drink protein shakes if you can keep them down. Stop sweating the little stuff, you’ll be back on track before you know it.
