You just said your max is 36.5" under the best of conditions. Do the math. I no longer have access to a vertec. Just for you I’ll post a 2 hand dunk off a drop step at 5’9" with a 7’7" max reach in basketball shoes.

That’s at least 38" off the ground WITH THE BALL IN MY HANDS, not throwing it and going and getting it. You have some valuable info from time to time but you clearly have serious issues. Until I’m able to get the vid I won’t post here so you can say or believe whatever you want now.

ya man that’s a 60 frames per second camera for you, plus i try to hammer them down fast so my arm swings real quick most of the time, especially on breakaway rims where it doesnt hurt my hand as much.

i just warmup real good dribbling around, 10-20 yard sprints, submax jumps from LEFT-RIGHT and RIGHT-LEFT plant, everything is progressive intensity… so ill start out real light for 3-4 minutes (a song length), then go a little harder, keep repeating for like 4-5 songs… then im pretty loose… i know i’m good when i can hit a strong 10-20 yard sprint, which feels pretty fast… then ill do some “max jump attempts without the ball”, which is still a warmup… when im done with 5-6 of those, i get into dunking… by that time ive broken a good sweat/legs feel loose etc.

Nice. I’ve just recently got back from a long vacation and I’m thinking of getting in the gym and seeing how my jumping is. hopefully i’m getting rim after the long layoff/holiday celebrating lol

Hahaha yeah it was about three weeks… And I haft really worked out at all in those three weeks. Had finals, people flying into town and staying at my place, then a 10 day ski trip up to Canada over Christmas. It was definitely a lot of fun (not the finals) but not hitting the gym and not eating the right kinda foods definitely took it’s toll.

Jumped a little bit yesterday before my workout. Two foot jump with both hands I was touching rim (feels so weird reaching with two hands. Two foot jump with Ike hand I was hitting right on te palm of my hand, just below my fingers. So maybe 3 and a half to four inches above rim? Not too bad (pretty much right where I was at before at a BW of 211)

??? I have 3 or 4 vids I’ve posted of me dunking? 2-hands off 2-steps, 2-hands off the lob, 2-hands off one step… What else do I need? As soon as I can get to an indoor gym I’ll try and get some new shit up. Don’t see any reason why I can’t get reverses and such down right now even though I haven’t touched a ball in 4+ months. Oh, here’s a vid of Jeremy Pargo [ex Gonzaga player] catching some nice dunks. His max reach off the run is 11’1". Here’s a link to his measurements. Think it’s pretty clear you don’t need to be a foot over the rim to catch windmills and such, and that in your case 30" is enought to dunk.

You’ve slung personal insults at me, mocked me, talked shit about me and said I don’t know what I’m talking about. I post a link to measurements that not only show that I’ve been right this entire time, it shows clearly that YOU don’t know what you’re talking about and have in fact been inflating your numbers. I know it’s not intentional, it’s human nature to think one’s better than they really are. Once again, a full foot over the rim with a ball in your hands is a shit ton. 38" vert? pargo is 6’1.5" and practices tricks, his 11’1" touch gives him a 38" max RVJ, i’ve touched 11’.05" at less height and less wingspan than him, his wingspan is 6’5 mine is 6’1… he practices tricks, he can possibly palm a ball, he’s a better “dunker”… yet somehow my vert is inflated?

not being able to windmill or do anything else than self lob power 1 & 2 handers doesn’t mean shit, i don’t practice windmills, 360’s, or any of that… but if pargo can windmill with 38 and an 11’1" touch then i should be able to windmill if i had his technique, sure.

you’re always saying my vert is inflated yet i have vertec videos, still frames from videos, videos of dunk/jump sessions etc with my fingertip clearly 12" above rim if not more on my best jumps.

you’re just blind as fuck or something… i’ve showed you what 12" looks like with my vertec pics, it’s not impressive height over the 10’ marker.

regardless, post dunk vids or VERTEC vids of yourself, my vert is legit & i have plenty of videos/pictures on PLENTY OF DIFFERENT COURTS + VERTEC to back it up, and my legit vert sucks ass 11’1-11’2 max touch on my best jump with 95" reach isn’t amazing, but it’s what i have when i’m fresh.

when i’m fresh, i get 11’ on my warmup jumps without the ball, i know this because i hit my wrist on the rim and leave red markings 12" down, also i’ve hit 11’0.5" on a vertec… when i’m dunking i get a few inches higher occasionally due to the lob.

should we continue this discussion or should you just post videos & I post videos, or answer people’s questions, etc…
