UFC 69

Nog (Minotauro Nogueira) is apparently going to fight in UFC…

Kos wins unanimous decision over Diego.

Horrible fight. Diego was pathetic.

Coscheck over Sanches, unanimous decision.

Not much in that fight, Coscheck just pushed the pace…

Just in off of Sherdogs play by play:

Koscheck beat Diego like a red headed stepchild, all 3 rounds.

I hope that Sanchez and Koschek have to give up their pay-checks. What a piss poor effort by both.

I hope that the St. Pierre, Serra fight is a lot better or I’ll ask for my money back.

Wow, St. Pierre must not have had his Spike. Serra owned him. That was a great fight.

Holy shit - Serra knocks GSP the FUCK out in the 1st round.

I’m stunned.

I know this isn’t pro wrestling, but man, Koscheck has a great heel persona. He’s a guy that fans will pay money to see (hopefully) get his ass kicked.

I think UFC should encourage him to play this part of his personality up for all his future fights. That interview at the end of the Sanchez fight was great.

And yeah, the fight definitely didn’t live up to the hype. Sanchez just didn’t seem like his normal self.

Well, I didn’t see that coming. Did you?

Serra by KTFO with a 6" reach DISadvantage. Wow.

WOW! I’m stunned. Serra KO’d GSP! Good for him. I knew I should’ve put some money on him when I was in Vegas.

Matt Hughes vs. Serra. These two don’t like each other (had a confrontation on TUF 4), so this future PPV headliner should do big business.

Where does GSP go from here? Perhaps a fight with Koscheck, or maybe Sanchez if they hold Koscheck for the winner of Hughes-Serra.

UFC needs to stop the All-Acess show. With the exception of Liddell, every guy that’s been featured on there has either lost the upcoming fight (Arlovski, GSP), or lost in fight after the show aired (Franklin, Ortiz).
T-Nation: One poll said that 84% expect St. Pierre to win by stand up. About 7% say you can tap him out or get a TKO on the ground, and 4% think he’s going to tap you out on the ground. The last 5% say it’s going the distance. Thoughts?

Serra: That’s good. That’s what I’m talking about. Doesn’t discourage me, it makes me think, “Alright, everybody’s gonna owe me a big apology.” That’s the attitude I have.
I’m so glad he pulled out the win. GSP is a class act for sure, but this is a classic underdog win. Fluke? Not by a longshot.

Wow - not just that Serra won, but the manner in which he won - biggest upset I’ve ever seen. I was out of my chair.

On a side note, I could practically see Matt Hughes salivating at the thought of fighting Serra for the belt.

Sanchez was fighting not to lose. He never moved in - obviously scared of Kos’ take down ability. But at the same time - he nver tried to put together any combos.

Look man, what fight were you guys watching? Koschek did not do shit, pushing the pace? He was willing to sit back and wait for the counter, it felt like I was watching a poorer version of Liddell.

Hughes is a pussy, he should want to fight the guy that took his belt, instead he celebrates for the other guy. P_U_S_S_Y

Oh yeah, Yushin Okami can add his name to team P_U_S_S_Y as well

I’m sure Hughes will want to fight GSP again, but I think Serra is a much better style matchup as far as Hughes is concerned.

hahahaahha

what the motherfuck happened with the gsp serra fight.

Totally unexpected. GSP wtf. Serra props on the TKO, you showed us all. The only blemish on my card but the ugliest of blemishes.

I am simply shocked. The easiest pick of the night turned out to be my one fuck up. Someone needs to explain why this happened.

Is he still affilited with (or sponsored by) Biotest? I didn’t notice any Spike or Biotest logos on his trunks.
