I want to do two leg workouts and one set of springs each week. I am still young and believe I can handle the recovery. What would be the best days to do each? With maximum recovery etc
If you were gonna do this, everything have to be low volume. Trust me, I’m 15 and have been training intelligently for a year, and I think my W.C. is pretty high, but when I try to do legs 3 times a week, especially when they are all intense, all I end up doing is fucking myself. Well not literally but, you get the point. IF you had to do this, I’d make it look like this
-Day 1 Romanian dead 5x5
stiff legged dead 3x8
hanging pikes/leg raises 2x15
situps 3x6
-Day 2 Close Grip Bench Press 3x3
DB bench 3x10
rack lockouts 3x5
-Day 3 Front squat5x5
short stroke lunge3x8
standing calves 2x12 2x5
seated calves same reps as above
-Day 4 ICE YOUR ASS off is all I can say, this is the most crucial thing to save me leg soreness, that and freezing showers. If you have a sled or weighted vest, feel free to walk around or do light cardio, ya know, good ole’ GPP
-Day 5 5 50 yrd sprints ALL OUT preferably on an actual track to save your joints.
-Day 6 Chin up 3x3
Bent Row 3x3
Snatch grip high pull 3x3
Day 7 off completelizzy
Make sure you eat like 18928484 calories a day, well maybe not that but AT LEAST 18 times bodyweight. And gorge yourself PWO. Make sure you take a multi and get your sleep too.
