Twisting Pushups? P90X?

Are those handles that twist do anything to better ones physique? And what’s the deal with this P90X that my buddy is raving about? Worth the $$?

All I can say is it’s most likely not going to work for someone serious about bodybuilding.

They aren’t worth 40 bucks in my opinion. Do some Gironda presses.

getting a pair of blast straps or elite rings would be way better than the pushup things.

i’ve heard the p90x is a pretty good system as well. i actually have a burned copy. it’s like 7 disks. i might give it a go when i drop enough weight and gain enough back strength to do a few pull-ups. pull-ups is part of the program so i’d rather not skip any part. it’s supposed to work on increasing your strength endurance considerabley. a member over at John Berardi’s website actually gave it a good review. not a staff member just a board member. pretty extensive review, though. the only questionable thing was once the 90 day program was up it left it at that. no tip on where to go from there. anyways, hope that helps… if you want a link to thier review let me know.

An old teammante of mine did P90X. It got him into pretty good shape.

Personally, I would not have spent the 40 dollars, however, I received the Perfect Pushup paddles as a Christmas gift. While initially skeptical of their effectiveness, using them fairly regularly for the past week or so has given me a whole new respect for the apparatus.

It is too early to notice any physical differences, and honestly, I may never see any large gains in strength or size due to this system alone, but there is no doubting that it is a good pushup replacement. As long as you don’t purchase them with any wild expectations, I would say that it is a good twist on a traditional exercise often overlooked.

I saw those perfect pushups today at walmart(the exact same product) for only 20$.

Try turning off the TV and head to the gym.
