What do you guys think of The Perfect Pushup? Does it really work well? Has anyone tried it? Lemme know what you guys think of it
I dunno, seems like a gimmick to me. The beauty of body weight exercises like push-ups are that you can do them basically anytime anywhere. Honestly, if you want to do push-ups with your hands pronated, then just use a pair of dumbbells or do it ol’ school and do them with a closed fist instead of open hand.
I haven’t been on this site in a long time. It’s funny actually. Just browsing the forums and saw that you guys were talking about the perfect pushups.
I am taking the challenge.

Check it out
I tried it. I didn’t get any better pump than with a regular pushup. If your wrists bother you, just pushup on some big hex dumbells like I do.

I agree with this guy. Since you are in the bodybuilding forum I assume you are looking to bodybuild so save your money and buy some real equipment and join a gym and leave the pushups to the marines and kids taking fitness tests.
Get a set of these, you won’t regret it.

I can testify to the quality, and you can rotate your hands as much or as little as you want to. You’ll be supporting a good business, rather than some fly by night, “as seen on TV” bullshit.
Oh yeah, and you can use Blast Straps for dozens of exercises, as you can see in the video. One use I’ve found, that they don’t show is I wrap them around my chinup bar and use them for dips. They’re a lot harder than using a dip station because you have to stabilize yourself.
Of all the gimmick products out there, this seems like one of the better ones provided it is made of decent materials. It would be good for people with injury.
Just put some socks on your hands and find a smooth floor.
Barbell Push-ups
yeah i did what Kruiser said with just some bath towels and did essentially the same thing
I bought it and used it, but the most important thing I got out of it was the push-up manual that came with it not the apparatus itself. The manual tells you to finish basically as many push-ups as you can in 2 minutes or less, and do various sets throughout the day at your own pace. You can do that without the actual perfect push-up however, and if your strapped for cash , save your money.
My brother bought these and I tried it out. Kinda felt a little better than a regular pushup but I don’t use pushups much anyway. Definitely a waste of money.
Dude they rotate 90 degrees… just like in a punch!
