Tricep Exercises

Ive beeing doing only two tricep exercizes and am looking to add another into the mix. Currently ive been doing dumbell tricep extentions and tricep kickbacks.

What other effective exersizes could i be doing, taking into account ive only access to a bench, barbell and dumbells.

thanks neil.

Close grip presses

Bent arm dumbbell pullovers

Skull Crushers and dips.

Those should be the base of your tricep workouts, well they are of mine.

You can only go so heavy with dumbells.

Thanks lads i’ll get them into the mix next tricep session, thanks loads.

dips on your bench - hands on the bench, feet on a chair or the floor; close “grip” push-ups - I’m not sure why I say grip, but I’m too tired to think of what your hands being together is called.

close grip board presses…

Dips, Close Grip benchpress, and skullcrushers if you are doing semi-wholebody.

If you are doing a split do skull crushers, more skull scushers, and tricep extention.

Hey, does anyone do scull crushers with hammer grip dumbells? I find that is the easiest way to isolate the tricep without bending your forearms in a funny direction or getting elbow tendon pain.

My combo which I created was:

Primary Exercise : Close Grip Bench
Secondary Exercise: Cable Pull Down
Auxillary Exercise: Cross Grip Swiss Ball Push Ups

Do skull crushers on a decline bench, and keep your upper arms perpendicular to your body. Vary your grip on them, too. Sometimes I use a tricep bar, sometimes I use an ezbar, sometimes is use a pronated grip.

i think you should use the safest grip on an exercise called the skullcrusher

I’ve never had a problem with my grip failing on an isolation exercise.
