BENCH: 260X9
DEADLIFT: 440X6
PRESS: 170X10

Doing 5/3/1. I love Wendler! Unfortunately, this week was my next cycle’s week of singles, and I have sucked ass in squat and bench. No PRs. Deadlift and press will come through, though.

I have not taped any training attempts, although I know I should. Here are my competition lifts from the Battle of the Great Lakes.

7/13:

Testing max in 6 weeks or so when I get back to college.

475 X 8 Deadlift, belt and straps (usually use hook grip) Also hit a 455 X 5 deadlift last week which was a beltless PR for me.

I got 355 x 3 on squat yesterday. Most weight I have done for reps on squat. I’ll be going for 365 x3 tomorrow. Can’t wait.

I got a PR the other doing walking lunges with 80 lb dumbells (160 lbs total) for 66 rest-paused steps. 3 days later my legs are still fried.

I also hit 160x17 on dumbell rows. My bodyweight is 175 and my goal is to hit bodyweight for at least 15 reps.

last thursday I did 2x5 Db bench with the 110#s

Then Monday I got 20 reps with 205 and 5 reps with 225 on ATG squat, not heavy but good for me.

1 board bench press- paused, against minibands

Did a 185 power clean yesterday, Considering this was the first time I did them in a year, im pretty happy.

7/18/09
DL 470 lbs 5x5 with a belt and straps

7/21/09 â?? yesterday
Squat 385 lbs 5x5 with just a belt

Next heavy squat and dead workouts are supposed to be a 5x6 with 5 more pounds on each lift.

I got 365 x 3 on squat today with just a belt. I am quite happy now.

Neither am I. My records are probably the lowest. Still, it’s nice sometimes to post your lifts and how you got better at them. A personal record is still a personal record.
