Did some good lifting today.

The bench was a PR not off boards. And the squats were just a straight up PR. No wraps, and still a bit to go to get depth tho;

Bench - 200kg x2 (final set)

Squats - 280kg x3 (sets 3, 4 and 5)

Squat - 280kg x3 (final set) - YouTube [/quote]

Nice work on those squats. One thing you may want to try is not taking such a huge breath before your descent. Sometimes having too much air can keep you from hitting depth in a tight suit.

Are you wearing briefs?

THanks!! I found releasing air on the way down actually made it easier to get into the hole (well… close to getting into it).

No briefs… Just a 42 Centurion. I’m 110kg. It’s a tight ass squeeze!!

225x10 on bench today for testing, best ive ever done

295 close stance squat for a single, im finally progressing on squats with my new stance

You bastard. Here I am trying to get up to 315x1 before May 2nd…

Great lifting man.

great job! also think it’s funny that this followed my post about 295 X 10 being my new squat PR…

… and miles to go before i sleep

Bench PR tonight!

255lbs which is a 10lbs PR. If I hadn’t taken the video, I would have swore there was a long pause (I’m talking like 4 seconds!!!) and it felt like the concentric portion took about 15-20 seconds. Man is my perception off.

I don’t think I’ll have any problems hitting this in a competition with a pause since it was after a number of work sets.

150kg (330lb) Behind the neck push press.

Hit it yesterday ah well so much for light week.

Hanley thats a mad arch son!

Yeah, but I’m a whole lot heavier. Also, I still have a ton of work to do on my squat to get it more on par.

Seated Over head press(from forehead)
205x5 +2 reps

This is a great bench assistance move maraudermeat persuaded me to use. Take an arch, bring the hands in a bit (pinkies just inside the rings) and feel the bench stabilizers working like hell.

Seated DB press
75’sx9 +1 rep

cant believe this forum slipped to the second page for a little bit! any ways…
fat bar decline
290x2, +20
200x15, i think its a 3 rep pr

looking for 300x1 next week as my last week with decline as first movement

2-Board manpon Press
275x4 (+1 rep)

Dips
BW + 40 x20 (baseline PR)

good work griding that last rep out skidmark

Thanks man. nope there not fake plated 2 20s and a 25 on the outside each side. glad you appreciate it.

250kg Deadlift. need to start lifting with a hook grip or set up with a better grip I am twisting like a motherfucker.

Set up with double over hand and straps afterwards for a set of 190 x 10 and my for was good.

Any suggestions.

The first set of squats looked like you sunk them in deep enough. On the second, the first rep was a touch high. The second rep looked like it was in.

Really impressive lifting dude.

Man there’s a ton of strong dudes on here. I’m wrapping up Cressey’s MS program this week and hope to have a bunch of PRs. These are my current PRs:

bench 245lbs (wk 8 PR - started prog @ 215)
squat 315 (set in 2007), 12" box 275
deadlift 415 (set w/ Coan DL prog)
chinups BW+35x3

“Minor” PRs set while on prog:
front squats 225
rack pulls 495
incline 205
close grip bench 215x4

Seated DB shoulder press
80’s x 5 (2 rep PR)
