275x2,2 decline bench overall one more set and rep than my last weight of 270, looking to get up to 315 again before my 4 week cycle with this movement is up, i seem to finally have a system thats working my bench

Yeah, I had a sweet set-up a while ago. Powerrack, bench, chains, bands, boards, various bars, platform, and then my basement flooded with 15" of sewage and a lot of it got hit. I’m in the process of rebuilding, but have to contend with this nonsense until then.

180kg x 1 (touch and go) 10kg PB.

185kg x 1 (touch and go) 15kg PB.

140kg x 10 (touch and go) 4 rep PB.

WG Pull Up

BW + 30kg x 6 (5kg PB)

Not a bad auld session.

Was this with or without the Hulk costume. I assume the costume gives a carryover similar to a high-end bench shirt.

Finally pressed the inch dumbbell yesterday! I’m so pissed I didn’t get the video. Thankfully, it was somewhat easy so I will get one soon. This is a goal I’ve has since I started strongman over 3 years ago, so it was a great day.

That’s the most weight I’ve put on anything but the leg press. I’m getting there.

After this I was taught front squats. I don’t know how the fuck you people support the weight, maybe I’m just built oddly. But anyway I got up to 185 x 10 as a starting benchmark.

Did some good lifting today.

The bench was a PR not off boards. And the squats were just a straight up PR. No wraps, and still a bit to go to get depth tho;

Bench - 200kg x2 (final set)

Squats - 280kg x3 (sets 3, 4 and 5)

I pulled 405 for the first time ever on Tuesday.

I was pretty happy about it.

I wish! I can break it off the ground, but that’s it. Deadlifting it is another goal, but I honestly have been lacking on grip training.

Not really a strength PR, but I did 1-arm DB rows 100lbs x 30 today. Previous was 22 reps. Biggest DBs in the gym so time to move on from that exercise.

AWPC lifter, training for the Canadian Powerlifting Nationals in late May 2009.

Current lifts:

Squat - 728lbs (in competition and training)
Bench - 505lbs (451 in competition)
Deadlift - 607lbs (in competition and training)
Total - 1786 (in competition)

Training to achieve the following in late May:

Squat - 800lbs
Bench - 540lbs
Deadlift - 650lbs
Total - 1900 (and hopefully more; even though hope does not have anything to do with it)

tonight was the last bench session of the four week cycle. finished with a 5lb PR over last week. feeling a bit beat up though. next week will be a deload week.
